From: AviStetto Developer in charge of Armor/Weapon CU conversion
"Weapons with DOTs on them will have their base damage increased based on the type and strength of DOT property prior to conversion. However, one of our goals is to take super weapons and bring them back closer in line with what will be considered acceptable ranges. The most powerful weapons in the game prior to conversion will still be some of the most powerful weapons afterward."

Sounds excellent to me. Hopefully we wont see weapons with anymore than twice the normal damage of an unenhanced crafter version of the weapon.
Hopefully the most powerful weapons around now wont be "I win buttons" after the conversion.

LOL, so the VB I have with a nice DOT might actually do some damage?

That would certainly be the impression I have. Of course VB's will only be one of many usefull weapon choices for us, thanks to us getting 3 new swords.

Weapons Clicky
I presume the 3rd sword will be the Marauder Sword seeing as both the Sith and Kashyyyk Swords have the two-handed prefix and the Marauder Sword does not; like the RSF and Acid Swords which we know to be new Fencer weapons.

the maurader sword would seem to be the most non-fencersword out of the whole bunch, big clunky, it would have to be slow...

Yeah, I don't like the way it looks, nor how if fits into finesse... then again, I don't like the ryyk either.

I agree but from the naming it seems like the only one which could be the 3rd sword. Maybe fencers and swordsman will get certified for it? Seems reasonable to me.

No profession gets a certification in the new system to a weapon certified in another profession.
