I killed a Kimo and i was not even a blademaster yet with only a greater sludge panther to take the hit and now i can kill Rancor and graul mauler but with a pet to take most of the hits tho.

if u are brawler against a Kimo u will die. Period.

once they fix the special defenses brwalers should do pretty well in PvP as well as in PvNPC

I will remove all of my clothes to hit you better! Nudity saves!! Armor and Clothes kills!! I will laugh as you kite me, since you do not know the glory of the naked butterknife/stick wielder! Your pets will whine and cringe, licking at my unshod feet just before they DB me and still I will laugh! Why?! They are naked and do not wield a butterknife or carry a stick! Only a fool does not fully follow the true path of the Fencer! Long live nudity, sticks and butterknives!!!

When i killed some Kimo i was only master footwork and they never hit me but i had to heal my pet during the fight because the Kimo was draining his health so fast. Then i tried grand Kimo last week end. Well this time... the experience was not good after giving me disease to both action and mind it kill me. But it wait untill all my mind and action pool was at 1 and then i die. So i give up grand kimo. No chance against them but with good healing and a pet Kimo can be killed in solo.

I've hunted Kimos in groups before and I just died a lot, especially against the Giant and Enraged Kimos.

Your group will generally use a big pet to tank and take the hits while they blast the Kimo from a safe distance. It's quite hard to avoid aggro when you go in to melee and generally you hit them once, get its attention, and it swats you down. You would need a great doc, great enhancements, and good heals to do any decent damage ona Kimoand survive.

I dislike the TKA but to be honest, they are the best brawler professions at the moment in both PvE and PvP considering they have over 2x the defense bonuses of any other brawler and dont seem to do any less damage.

All i can say is be the profession you want to be. I got tired of running away like a panzy from creatures with a pistol or carbine. I went fencer because i love the moves and speed. I was a TKA, and still am, butgetting new weapons and having them sliced is all a part of the game and makes it more fun trying to find a good weapons, and using a variety of weapons. i just.....like it.

If you're justlooking for a good damaging class, try BH or Commando.

Fencer can be difficult and frustrating. If beingone of the elite fightersis an important objective I would look elsewhere. But I love fencing. You have to think about your oppenents, what weapon to use, how and when to use special attacks. I think it is very helpful to have friends who really do not care if you are a star damage dealer. Grouping as a fencer is fun but you need to be with people who are not weighing whether they should dump you for a [insert pretty nearly any fighting class here]. My friends are the greatest and it is nice to watch your ability to contribute grow over time as you learn how to play your character. I will say that soloing is slow and painful. I only do it to collect meats or hides or bone for others in the group.

Armor is one of those things that you have to experiment with. I keep 3-4 pieces on my hotkeys adn depending on what I am fighting (all kinds, all sliced for HAM) and I equip and unequip as needed. Most people I have seen do not use anydo not use any.

I have a complete set of composite armor in my inventory and i NEVER use it ... i just use the glove and boots. Armor is a HAM killer for us... and our special attack is HAM killer as well. So, i would say that armor is almost useless exept for PVP.

Armor is good, depending on what you are trying to do.

I use armor when I attempt to tank or go into PvP. Works wonders. WhenI say Tank, I mean buff my stats and drop a moun gold. This means I am hunting XP and I can usually pull it in at a decent click this. I can take a beating from mutile targets at once and drop them.

For example. All juiced up I can handle 3-4 mountain dewbacks at one time. I just bleed them all and work one down at a time. Since my second profession is doctor, I wouldn't recomed this unless you can heal well. I do that a few times to keep my health pools operating. This only fits into my tank playstyle as I crash 10 min later and I am a sitting duck for 2 minutes.

Most of the time, while I RP. I use only marine boots and bracers, along with a Mk1 sheild to give me AR1 all around. I look good and have a blast this way. Although I am more careful to pull targets one at a time when they con white or higher.

So I use armor in many different ways. There is no one correct way to do it and you need to mix based on your playstyle.

BTW Some of my armor has a real good encumbrance slice on it and that helps out as well. So always get good armor if you are going to bother and get it sliced.
