The swords are ok, no memorial sword there, no clear indication whether they are 2-h or 1-h.


More importantly (we have many weapons now) we don't know if they are worth using.


The Sith sword looks cool, as does the rebel one. But I like the curved sword "appearance" better than the new ones. The acid one could be very interesting to use, but not knowing the dmg or how armor will work, we have no idea if it is any improvement over the vibroblade.


Sorry, I am a bit negative. Been waiting for 1.5 years now for these revamps to go in effect.

I can't believe I forgot about the memorial sword. Yeah, it would be awesome to see that with the CURB.

As for whether they are one- or two-handed, I believe they are all one-handed with the exception of the two-handed sith sword. I could be wrong, but the others just look like the hilts were made for one-handed use.

They look great, I think that if it is a 2handed weapon it will say 2 handed in the title. Hopefully Cal can track down some info on the memorial.

I dont want to sound like im playing devils advocate... But it seems pretty kitch; i mean "the acid sword", "the blaster sword", the "lightning sword"...

What was cool about the different combat classes, was each one had its own special damage type.

fencer: stun
swords: blast
pikes: electrical
tka: limited (no special)

now it seems that everyone is gonna get everything... I think if fencer is not gonna have ap2 like the other classes have, they should have more weapon types to choose from. I know that the ap system will change, but there will prolly be some sort of ap system left over.

Having variety of damage type is away to overcome not having ap-2

Well, the RSF Sword is defently 1 hand, if you look in the "index",and on the clicky thing that says "CU Melee", you will see that the bothan is holding one.

No idea on the acid sword though

Just a thought but what if fencers are ment to specialize in a damage style rather than a damage type. Like in that article about the armor upgrade what if we are ment to focus on standard damage instead of focusing on stun or acid damage. And after the CU the damage types should become close to irrelevent and more focused on what weapon mode you're using as apose to what damage type you have like it is now. And personally the still need to add duel wielding, acid sword with RSF sword would be nice.
