I am currently working on getting novice Fencer, and I would like to know where I could get the most XP fast without much risk of dying pretty much every five minutes. I have a Greater Sludge Panther to tank for me, ad well as two other grand wrixes if my GSP needs a break. If anyone has any tips to give me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

Don't use a tank, they will just suck XP away from you.

Trying to hit Master as quick as I can. Holocron told me so but I may end up keeping the profession anyway. It's not as bad as I thought . Where would you Blademasters advise I go to get XP as quick as possible? Also, what do you recommend as far as weapons, armor, buffs, etc. go? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Head straight to Dantooine and don't pass go.

I averaged about 200k xp an hour there, running Hurrton huntress missions. They were 7k payout missions on the terminals. Also with the new player cities, I always took missions in the direction of the closest city, finished my missions and then was usually really close to the city so I could take missions there back to my original starting point. I always started at the science outpost. This saved me a lot of time running around. I also killed every hurrton stalker I came across. They are usually in spawns of 2.

My best advice though is find the best Kinetic resist armor you can buy. Ask a master armorsmith to make you either a set of Advanced Kinetic layerd Ubese or some Advanced Chitin. The encumberance isn't as bad on these as on Composite and the resist is just as high. I currently have Adv. Ubese with 70% Kinetic resist and I wear a Adv Chitin helmet with 65% resist cause the encumberance is lower than the Ubese helmet. With this armor, normally where a hurrton would do anywhere between 150-250 damage per hit, they only do 25-30 pts damage.

As far as weapons go, I pretty much used the best Tusken Gaff stick I could find and had it sliced. I also bought a case of Tattooine Sunburns and a case of Muon. I drank a sunburn right before I attacked each lair. The sunburn boosts you so your action restores itself at an amazing speed. This way I could use a few specials without killing myself. Every once in a while I'd pop a muon but only in emergencies. I don't like the recovery time from them. I rarely had to though.

Get bleed 1 & 2 as fast as you can. I think they are on the Footwork line. These bleeds stack so hit everything with one of each and watch em bleed to death. I hardly ever used any other specials besides these, unless I got impatient and then I'd throw in some body shots.

Anyways, hope this helps. Fencer is a great profession. I love it. You'll be surprised how powerful you will get. Good luck.

Why is everyone saying hurtuuns, i went to dant to hunt em a few days ago and in my opinion for the amount of time it takes to kill them ( not much ) the little exp they give isnt worth it :/

I kill Tuskens at the tusken fort on tatooine. They average 1.5k-4k a kill? and you can use the dizzy/lunge combo to lay em down. Gotta be careful and go with buffs as you can get jumped by quite a few if you are careful and donot havea pet.

I was getting 3.5k per huurton huntress. Solo and no pet. Then for some reason I decided to group with my mount which I never use in battle, I just tell it to stay about 80m from the lair, and my xp per huntress went from 3.5k per kill to 4.6k per kill. LOL. An extra 1100xp just for grouping with my mount! I got 5k a piece for Huurton stalkers when grouped with my mount. I could destroy a complete hurrton lair in under 5 minutes with an average of about 25k xp per lair. It all depended on how many babies popped out of it. If it was all huntress' then I got 31.6k xp per lair. It's pretty hard to beat that

Experience per kill is based on your current skill set. Someone with higher Fencer skills will get less experience for killing the same creature as someone with lower end fencer skills.

It's like the durnis, gubbers, and gnorts outside of cities. When you were new and using your survivor knife you were getting a couple hundred a kill. At master level you'd be getting 1xp per kill on those same durnis, gubbers & gnorts.

there are alot of types of hurton and people forget this.

normal hurton are in the 2k range

huntres are 3k

stalkers are 4k - this misssion will only spawn stalkers no pups and is ideal if you can handle them (they do db)

so ya hurton stalker are very very good exp IF you can handle them
