Thread: Dancing Missions woprking?
Let's say you get a Dancing mission that leads you to the entrance of a hotel.
Enter the hotel, and start dancing. It takes about five minutes, but the mission will complete itself.
It's annoying that there's no feedback given, but I've been able to complete all the Entertainer missions i've been given. Note that Fichesi doesn't dance. He's an instrumentalist. And I don't actually take missions from Entertainer terminals, rather I get them from NPCs. Unfortunately, every NPC mission I've been given, relative to entertainment, has been a dancing mission. ![]()
Interesting. I don't know why that would be. Did you dance in a random location, or on the stage? Every time I've performed in a hotel, I've been up on the stage. I also flourish, rather than use the basic moves. This may have something to do with it, though if you're a dancer, you're likely using your flourishes anyway for the XP.
I don't know what else to tell you. These missions always work for me.
Yup Floruishing and everything. My Mission is in a Cantina but I know what you mean about the stage. I've asked a few other dancers and they've told me the same, and have just given up on it for now. This is the only missions the Imperials NPCs will give me and Im basically stuck Factionwise until I can figure out why these missions arn't completeing
I had the same problem. Went to an entertainment terminal and got a dancer mission (on these terminals you select either the Dancer tab or the Musician tab) and went and danced in the hotel the waypoint was in front of... Nothing. I even went out and danced right in the waypoint for a while. Nothing. I gave up on it.
Another problem I see is the amount of credits for these missions. The ones right in town are about 50-80 credits, which is fine I guess. But the ones 8000 meters away in another town are still 50-80 credits! Gee, I guess I will spend 120 credits for a shuttle ticket to go do that mission. Oh wait, I will abort that mission and just get a normal delivery mission to that town 8000 meters away and get 700 credits...
I actually got one of those faction missions, and didn't notice it was a dance one. So I sat there for a good 30 minutes on my Chind horn, wondering what was up with this. Then I checked the mission description (to see what measly amount of credits I was doing this for), and noticed that not only was the "type" Dancer (which is always the case, even for musician gigs, I've it /bugged yet again post-patch), but the long description actually mentioned dancing. Whoops!
I'm wondering whether you've got the opposite. If you got a musician gig, the Type will say dancer. Check the description to see if it mentions music, instruments, or anything along those lines. You may have to pull out a slither to get your, what, 120 credits?
[would this be a good time to ask the devs to up the payment? Yeah, that's what I thought...]
