Thread: Details on Dancer and Musician Mind Enhancement (Mind buffs!)

Summary:
1) Dancers and Musicians have a skill mod called "Mind Enhancement". Any performer with this skill mod can buff mind.
2) In order to have your mind buffed, you need to watch a dancer or listen to a musician. And when you're finished watching and or listening, you need to choose to "Stop Listening/Watching" from the radial menu, or use "/stoplisten" and "/stopwatch" commands. The buff will not activate if you just run off.
3) The buff lasts twice as long as the person spent being entertained, to a maximum of 30 minutes from when they stop being entertained.
4) The buff from a musician or entertainer is 1% for every two points of mind enhancement skill mod they have. So a master dancer can provide a 50% buff. In addition, dance and music stack, so a master dancer and a master musician together can provide a 100% buff!
5) This can be done in the usual places that entertainment has effects on stats: camps, houses, cantinas, etc.
That's all.
Musicians buff willpower and focus, while dancers buff mind. It's also been reported that just walking off will in fact work (but perhaps people don't notice it.) I have not tested either yet myself.

It's also important to note that the Mind Enhancement skill is tied directly to Dancing Technique and/or Musical Technique.
Which gives dancers and musicians a good reason to expend action to do those pretty lights. It lets patrons know that you can buff their minds. A "Skilled Dancer" and "Skilled Musician" lets you know that they can buff the mind quite a bit.
And, of course, Master Dancer/Musician is the one to really watch if you're interested in healing and buffing.
I had the combat medic of my group try it out. She was amazed with an additional +200 mind. I feel motivated to learn Techniques IV now. *boogies*
Is there any way to buff one's own mind? If doctors can do it, I'm hoping dancers and musicians can too.
Also, can entertainers heal mind damage at all, or just wounds and battle fatigue? Thanks!
Peace and Light,
