Does anybody know if these work? My PA is having a party today and I ran a goodly amount of these in my factory.. The problem is when I handcrafted a few I could not get them to work at all..

Im posting here becuase a PA mate of mine thought you might need to be an entertainer in order to use em *shrug* Can anybody help?

As far as I know, they're unimplemented. You can craft them, but they don't do anything.

I'm sure they'll get around to making them work someday.

Thanks pickles!

Why would they patch them in then? It makes no sence what so ever to put them in.. or at least make the schematic unusuable for something.....

Individual ones do work, but this new package thingy does not.

They do work and you don't have to be an entertainer to use them.

Create a show package and a selection of different firework types.

On the show package radial menu select Add Event (from the Show Data sub-menu). This will bring up a list of all the fireworks in your inventory, then just select one.

Rinse and Repeat.

::gets whiplash from a doubletake::

It's *fixed*?!? No more "Coming soon! Fabulous new features!"?

When I saw those show packages I thought they were the neatest idea ever, and crafted one up post-haste, waited patiently for nightfall, only to be disappointed by their "this was only a test" message.

Do you know if the packages created pre-patch have the show setup working? Or do I need to make up a few new ones?

Yep, they are working now.

Been making them to sell in the shop since the last big patch.

What you do is make a fireworks package and some fireworks that you want the package to display.

Then with all the stuff in the top level of your inventory select 'add event' from the firework packages radial menu (its a sub option under 'show details').

You then get a pop up with a list of fireworks in your backpack and the charges thay have left.

Select one and hit ok.

You will see that firework loses a charge and the firework pack gains a charge.

Continue untill you reach the maximum 20 charge limit for the pack.

When the pack is ready double click it, or use the radial, to start the show.

There is a delay, then the fireworks are fired one at a time untill the charges are used up.

You do not need to kneel to set these off so you can drop one and run.

This lets you watch your own fireworks.

Mixing different fireworks is cool, also making a package with type 10s makes a cool effect.

Why wouldnt you be able to watch your own firework anyway? Just zoom into your own head and look up... its hard to see them in 3rd person perspective, but in 1st person I dont have a problem.

Yep, that was the only way to watch your own fireworks before.

But the new packs do the launching for you and you don't have to kneel to set them off so you can drop them and run, much like you do with real world fireworks.

Have fun

Yes, very cool! 20 different fireworks in a set, and if you have someone expirement a lot each firework is like a stack of eight....although I'm not sure 20 stacks of 8 is really 160 fireworks...seems like maybe just 20....so the size of the stack might not matter.

Have to click "launch" like 5 times before it works, but eventually it does.
