Thread: Why would someone become a master entertainer?

The reason I ask this is because I'm a master rifleman, and I am working on master ID (it was fun when i did it as a holo grind so I'm returning back to it)
and I have enough points to lvl master entertainer or a different base skill. I really like playing music and the dancing is alright but I'm trying to figure out the benifits to actually going all the way and becoming master entertainer.

oh and if there are no real benifits I'll just go up the musician skill as far as i can since i enjoy that

Thats pretty much true, but if your still looking for reasons, you get the mandovial (i think thats it) The cool guitar-like instument, and you get the ceremonial song, which is, in my opinion, the coolest song in the game.

Coming from the ID angle, I think this is a really good question. You don't get any ID bonuses from the master ent box, which I think is a real bummer... but, since you know you like music...
Master Ent will make you a pretty good ent healer, especially with some + bf healing SEAs and buffed clothes. The really neat thing you get for music is the social aspect of being able to play the mandovial and ceremonial, which are a big hit at weddings and other formal events.
From a pure healing point of view, you could do both healing lines in musician with MRif/MID. Or for just flash and buffs, you could do both music lines. So I guess it's whatever you think you will use and enjoy most. 
For dance, there's a rumor that Master Ent/Master Dancer helps you fall less, but I'm not sure if that's true. I'd like to see the master box bulked up a little, but the music perks you get right now are by far the coolest thing about it IMO.

Uhm I'd say the biggest plus for being master Entertainer is the ability to use the Mandoviol, which is the most beautiful instrument in my opinion.
Also, you get the Ceremonial song... usually requested at weddings or PA events

Well, I finished dancing...and was working on TK & Chef...but that Mandoviol was taunting me...so last night I became a master entertainer. I tell you what, waiting for the shuttle is a LOT more fun now. And others appreciate a little seranade...
