I am finding there are certain people who seem to think it is fun to harrass entertainers, or take advantage or them in other ways. The Deny Service command is effective with these people, but it has to be redone every time one logs on. And there are other people, who, for one reason or another, wind up on the ignore list. While that means they don't bother you anymore, they are not receiving any other incentive to correct their behavior.
It would be a great help to performers if anyone on their ignore list was automatically added to the Deny Service List on log-on. This would give us the satisfaction of knowing that those we do not wish to have interreaction with are not benefiting from our efforts.
My ignore list is VERY short. But each name on it has earned their place, in fact, worked very hard for that dubious honor. I certainly don't want to be affording them the benefits of my hard earned skills.
Respectfully,

I agree.. Denyservice should work like the ignore list. Why were they done differently in the first place?

how about doing a macro "Blacklist" with all the /denyservice's
in it, you hit everytime once you log on? And you can even share
it with other entertainers...
This may correct some behaviours

man im glad i read this post. I had no idea the deny of service was temporary.
Not that I have loads of people in my list. But if people go on my ignore or denial list its because they done something exceptional lol.
Id rather keep then on denial of service if i can.
The suggestion to macro it everytime log on is a good work around though
Cheers

Sorry, I wish that worked, but it doesn't.
Your deny list poofs every time you log out. But to add someone to your deny list, they have to be online and nearby, so you cannot just rebuild the list every time you log in.
