Currently im a combat character, but I have enouge points for master entertainer, and would just like to ask, if it is worth it...

Just to have some fun, and non combat stuff to do

To have fun and something non-combat oriented? I'd say enthusiastically "Hell yeah!" Two of my favourite songs are Ceremonial and Folk, and StarWars2 is always good for a smile. Hit the right flourishes in StarWars3 (the Imperial tune) and that one's good for a grin, too. And of course, many people think the mandoviol, the stringed instrument you get at Master Entertainer, is one of the coolest in the game. (I think it's the best.)

For dance, I really enjoy Formal2. It's smoother than just plain ol' Formal. And there are some jazzy flourishes in it that look neat done by either a male or female avatar.

There's nothing in Master Entertainer for Image Designers, specifically, which I've always thought was rude as hell. But you can at least touch up a lady's makeup for a party, or change a gent's eyes and hair color, have a few hairstyles...it's nice for small ID work, when someone's not looking for a total makeover, just a little change of pace.

So I would say it is. But you might find otherwise. The biggest drawback is that you don't get Fatigue Healing until you specialize in Dance or Music, so your ability to heal others of their fatigue will be a little limited. But you'll be able to do backup entertainer healing, which is helpful, and have some cool things to do at parties.

I miss a notification about the "starwars1 solo on the mandoviol while you're waiting on the shuttle" which is truly a master entertainer's privilige. Starwars1 is the only song that makes the mandoviol sound more like a guitar then a violin, Play that funky music!

ME is fun by itself and a great way to experience a variety of entertaining, but if you want to specialize in either Dancing or Music, you should have enough skillpoints to explore the knowledge trees in either of those professions, garnering you much more songs or dances respectively.

However, if you decide to go ME, the Mando is a blast, and Ceremonial is the most request song at weddings. The dances you get aren't the most popular, but they can be fun non the less with the right combination of flourishes. The ID, allows you to actually do some minor hair work on both humans and zabraks. With most other species you are limited to eyecolor, but I find most people seeking changes are human/zabrak. The other instruments you get are the two basic horn sounds, which sound nice on any song, but SW1. I'd say it is worth it. You won't get mind buffs or anything, but the best part about entertainer and entertaining is the people you meet, and you can meet them with Master Musician or Novice Entertainer. Whatever path you choose, if you decide to entertain, give a shout on the four Ent boards, and I sure you'll find someone on you server glad to teach you the ropes.

Ok!

You see...

Im gonna be a TKA and master pikeman!

And after that I have enouge points for master entertainer!

My goal with entertainer is not to make money... It's more of a social bone... a non combat feature.. a diffrent thing to do, and more deepth to my character!

I want to have fun, and laugh and stuff

Im just scared that im gonna be left out from all the good stuff!

The new entertainer droid module with dancing jawas sounds awsome, but Im not even sure If a master entertainer can benefit from it.. Im not even sure if there will be any content for ME, in the upcoming entertainer dungeon!

Maybe it will all be Dancer/ID/musician content.. And that scares me!

The mando, looks awsome! A guitare thingy, and it is the only instrument i really like in the hole bunch!

So in other words, musician and dancer is not needed for me - I just don't want people to look at me like im a newbie with entertaiment healing 1, using a slitherhorn and playing starwars 1 like most generic AFK people i see in the cantinas now a days!

I want to create an uniqe character and entertain with words... long time ago I remember making a 15 man group laugh in a camp, while healing in the field, by singing real life song(just typing but still...) while playing music, and it was cool to interactive in that way!

I want to make my bio, primary about being an entertainer as a way of life, and not just another person who will revenge his/her parents on the empire and become a dark jedi and challange palpatine...

-Jenky, thx for your replys! really helps me

That is awesome, ME are respected too and Master Anything looks much nicer than a Novice title. If you just in it for the social aspect, I am glad to here it. That's what the LIVE ents, at least on Bria are all about. If your looking to write your own songs, I highly encourage you two. Here are two links with great examples of what you can do with a little creativity.

I'd say you're one example of a perfect candidate for Master Entertainer. Namely, because you want to do it to flesh out your character some, meet people, join the show, and have a BLAST doing it!

Even Novice Entertainer is a lot of fun for people, if they don't havefeelings of some pressingneed to compete in the market for tips and buffs. Lately I've been running into a lot of players that have Novice, even if the entertainer part isn't their primary focus. Here's a bit of starting advice... even SW1 can start to sound pretty cool if you have a few people all playing at the same time, that lone slitherhorn is pretty dull by itself. Find one or two people to put on Fizz once they have music 1, one slitherhorn, and you've got a nice horn section with lead slitherhorn. Hit a couple of /bandflos, and those who didn't know about bandflos suddenly see how much fun playing can be...

I did this with two novice entertainers last night in Dearic cantina... and it was dead in there. So we started jamming, I taught them how to use the bandflos, and we just ran with it, trying things out. People started to trickle in... and stayed, because we had a coordinated "band" going! Who cared if it was just SW1... we were having a great time, playing with different things, and a lot of the audience had (sadly) never seen multiple musicians actually coordinating their play. Inside of an hour, that cantina was hopping... about a dozen people at one point just having a great time. It's the way the cantina's are supposed to be, in my opinion.

Anyway, point is that no one seems to care if you have the newbie song or newbie dance, if you're having enough fun with it. Excitement and fun is infectious.
