Greetings and Salutations,
Having played an entertainer for some time now I find myself often wondering why a few things have not been added yet. For instance:
1) With the second Droid Publish, why is there not a droid that an entertainer can use to heal wherever they are? I mean Doctors and Medics have them that allow them to heal anywhere, why can't we? I for one would love to play music at the Ticket Collector and heal folks, or under a streetlamp in a town someplace at night. Why must we be confined to cantinas or houses?
2) The ability to control who we heal. This is why this class is the most under payed and under appreciated of them all. Folks don'thave to play for anything but buffs. Why are buffs the only controled healing?
3) Buff times. A doctor sitting on his keister at a busy starport can make 10k easily every 5 mins selling buffs. Last I knew, a full Master Dancer buff took 15 mins. Granted, the dancer expends no resources to grant the benefit, however it is near impossible to grind a Master Dancer in 2 days like you can the Master Doctor. Costs in food and Bio-Enhansed clothing are about the same. So the Doctor can make 200k in an hour, given that example, and a Master Dancer selling their buffs at the same cost would make only 40k. Am I the only one that sees this?
4) Why are all musical instruments the same color? I never got this one at all. Seems like an easy mod to make to me. But, what do I know, i'm just an entertainer. ^-^
Now please do not misunderstand, I love being a Entertainer. These are just some glaring errors that I feel have been overlooked long enough. Thisis my opinion and mine alone. So please, take it for what it is worth.. A grain of salt.
Thanks in advance for all your time and attention.

Greetings, Hakiro.
You are definitely not alone. Those are some common requests. The first two, believe it or not, are a little contested. There are people who would like to see them, and people who would not. But it does come up a lot.
On the second two.. I don't think I've ever heard someone say "I don't want a hot pink slitherhorn!"
On the buff time.. Again something I don't think anyone says "I want buffs to take longer" but the request for shorter buffs is very popular. However, if you want to focus on buffing, there are a few things you can do....
The simplest thing you can do is flourish more. If you have a quickness/stamina buff, flourishing as much as possible will yield a full buff in a little over 3 minutes. However, more profound is the fact that, while doctors buff one at a time, entertainers are not so limited. Our target is audiences, not individuals. If you want to focus on buffing, you could just invite people to your group as they request buffs, then disband them when their buff is done. You can be doing up to 20 buffs at a time that way. (19 group + 1 /setperform). If you want to do the extreme thing and do a 3 minute buff, that means you can buff around 60 people in 10 minutes.
I'm sure you can imagine though that your limiting factor would quickly become explaining the process to people. And that, I suspect, is a bigger problem at the moment. The process is confusing, and unlike doctor buffs which don't require the patient to know anything about the process, entertainer buffs require the audience to do half the work.
A bit of ironic trivia.. Entertainers have had mind buffs since the beginning. Or at least since 3 weeks after release when I started playing. However at the time they were rather small, and short lasting. Theoretically rather small; they could be stacked, so additional buffs would just start multiplying the stats exponentially. But it took several hours to get a mind pool over 20k. The buffs as they exist today are a result of entertainers asking for some control over their abilities. The power and duration of the buffs were cranked up, and we were given control over who could get them, instead of just giving it to everyone. This also hurt the healing xp income of entertainers a little, as buffing gives xp, and when everyone coming in was getting a buff, the healing xp started to add up.
