If it isn't, I /applaud the dude who wrote the music for this game, virtuoso is incredible.
It sort of sounds like that contemporary jazz, so it COULD be based on a song, considering the genre.

Well, my friend /sang "Jeeper creepers, where'd you get those peepers" while playing virtuoso, and now I think of that every time I play it...

"Duck song"? That's a new one on me, but I'd guess Jazz because of how the chid sounds on it unflourishes. The other "named" song that I know of is Zelda.

Hmm...someone in the coronet cantina was singing the "song that gets on everybody's nerves" while playing SW1 without flourishes...And now I know why the song gets on everybody's nerves.

if virtuoso isn't a remix of jeepers creepers, I'll eat my nalargon.

Well, the piano part does sound like Jeepers Creepers, but I'd argue that the melody is carried by the chid horn, and that doesn't sound anything like Jeepers Creepers. Er, does it?

Just listened to all the instruments on Virtuoso to check.. The Chid is slightly reminiscant of Jeppers Creepers to my ears. The nalargon is closer, but it's still there for the Chid. It's there in all the instruments. The chid is probably the furthest from it, but it's still there.
