I don't know about you, but as someone who does these things a lot for the money, I have to say buffs are free. The effort into making these things amusing, interactive, stunning, and engaging, that's why they tip me the big credits.

People are weird. If you tell them a price, they usually want tohaggle it, or yell at you telling you it is a rip-off (even if you told them 10 credits). Yet if you don't tell them a price and let them decide on their own, they usually do the right thing. Sadly, there are people who will stiff you, those you take note of and deal with however you like the next time they come back. Some people will tip a fraction of what others tip, but in the end it all averages out. And to them, that fraction might be a huge amount to them...
Also, as was mentioned, your ability to engage the buffee and keep them entertained and coming back is the your real money maker.

Ok, I'll give you a real answer.
5k each, so if you're doing both, 10K is generally acceptable, at least on the servers that I play on.
If you are engaging, or build up a loyal clientele, they will still tip you more, even if you have your set price. But, having a reasonable set price such as 5k per buff will keep you from being stiffed.
PS If they do haggle or yell at you...well I simply say, "Do you want the buff or not?
"
