Hello, dont know if anyone is doing this already, but, im tossing my hat into the ring of reviewing bands and publishing them either for your personal site, guild site, and/or my personal site (once it is finished).

I am on several servers, and will create characters on others to see a show, but you need to give me advance notice to make sure im able to make it.

I offer this because ive grown up with star wars, and with music. Over the years ive loved creative writing and putting my spin on things. I dont currently charge, and dont see myself charging, cause its not about the money its all about the fun and the music (and the game, and the image of your band).

Another consideration is there are others, forming the first entertainment online magazine (think Rolling Stone)for SWG, i know that there was a Mos Eisley group that had a newspaper and it apparently died, but, i dont think that the entertainers would let that happen. So, if there are enough of you that would like to join me, we can make the magazine with articles and reviews of gigs and other player events, mixed with 'current galaxy news', and plenty of screencaps.

Anyone in?

Sounds interesting. From my point of view it would just be nice having someone else do the review for inclusion on our current web site. Take a look at the link in my signature for Talus Moon

If you're looking for a place to put them, might want to go to www.swgentertainer.com. There's already a few bands listed there, you could add more and/or review the ones listed.

Inside my heart is breaking, my make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly - my friends

Hey Kyorlana, I noticed on the website you mentioned, that you guys play other music than the usual Star Wars melodies that are in the game. How does that work? I'm working on some arrangements for my own solo performances, matching up various flourishes to make up a tune that I like (and that hopefully my audience will too) but it looks like you folks have taken it to a whole new level. What's the deal?

Since June 2004, running one of the game's first completely nonviolent characters. Testing the limits of non-combat MMORPG play and trying to have fun into the bargain (although the developers make it difficult).

Combat is no longer compulsory.

HI Beery,

We do not use any music that is not available in the game. What we have done in the past (not so much now) is arrange RL lyrics to in game music. Some work really well, others not so. Although our standard of performing is high and we use a lot of different techniques to achieve that... we do not use anything not available in game. I hope that helps clarify things for you Thanks for visiting the site!
