I wish that these droids could have picked up the names "Dancer Droid" and "Musician Droid" to avoid all the confusion surrounding this...

You need to be Novice Dancer or Musician, not just the Entertainer profession,to use the "entertainer" droids. There's been a lot of confusion over this, it's not just you.
