Thread: New entertainer website (Looking for contributors)

I've got a bunch of stuff that I will put up I just haven't figured out whether to go the link method with what I have existing (which would be quicker) or reformat in Wiki. I think the former. I DO think this is a great idea and if it's ok what I'll do is add a button to my site for Variety Magazine so that there are links to everyone else's contributions too.
I also have a list of useful posts made by others that I was in the process of asking permissions on to add to the site so make more sense to get them to repost their own stuff on the Wiki (less work for me!).
I am confident that at the end of the day the entertainment community will have a wonderful resource as that is what we are all after. Just bear with me in terms of contribution at the moment ![]()

Quite alright.
It's only really a problem on a page-by-page basis. It's too much work for someone to bother griefing the entire site. People who like to deface websites don't usually bother with wikis because there isn't any challenge there, and anyone else can recover it. If a wide-spread problem does occur, IPs can be banned. There are a few key pages I have locked against editing, but I try and keep these as few as possible. So far it's just the login and user settings pages, but I'll probably create a page with instructions on recovering wiped pages, and make that uneditable as well. It would be too ironic to create that page and lose it.
Thanks
I tried bribing Jaessa but it didn't work.
