Thanks again Lilo you are the best. Thank you for all you hard work on behalf of the entire Ent community. Its people like you with your selfless desire to provide this memorial for all of us that makes me proud to be an an Ent.

I will stop out as soon as I can to take a look.

To everyone on every server: if you've lost a friend who was an Ent, that would be just about every person reading this, you owe yourself a trip here. I was extremely sad when I first came here and read the names. Now when I go back I'm not so much saddened as reminded of all my friends I still have and it renews me in my struggle to keep those nameson my friends list from becoming names on the candles.

Allow me totestify to the sobering wonder that is TEoY Memorial Cantina. A being would have to be completely heartless to go there and not be affected. It is a place of reverence and introspection. I can assure you that if you have any interest in the entertainer professions at all you will not be able to keep a dry eye (C - not even on the other side of the keyboard).

My greatest wish would be that this memorial was not necessary. Barring that, I would hope that not a single candle needed to be added to it from this day forward. None-the-less, thank you, Lilo, for your concept and your creation of this moving tribute to those entertainerswho have either become one with the Force orhave left forother professions out of frustration with the state of our class. (And thank you for not being one of them - I know you came close!)

I encourage each and everyone who reads this to visit TEoY and sign here letting us know what your reaction to it was. If you are even considering leaving the game or the profession, I beg you to visit the memorial first. If you are on another server, create a character on Bria just for a day so you can visit. Its that important.

I have visited the memorial. There I saw names from my old server and my new one. I saw the name of the wookiee who gave me my first hairdo. I saw the name of the first wookiee master musician on Intrepid. I saw the name of the woman who gave me my first master's degree in dance. I saw that woman's husband too. So many memories of a time long past.

And for every candle that is there lies an individual who strived to make these professions work against the rising tide of ill sentiment against what we do. Against the marginalization of our professions. Against the lack of development. It is both a window to the past as well as a vision of the future. Powerful in its simplicity. Thank you Liloman.

I don't go there unless I'm dragged because it bums me out. Certain candles cause little stabs of pain.

But I honor your efforts and commitment to this, Lilo. I just wish it weren't necessary.

Apparently the link above isn't working for everyone, so try going to www.calcreations.net then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Edge of Yesterday." This should work, please let me know if it does not.

It seems that the link above isn't working for a lot of people, so instead, please try going to www.calcreations.net and scrolling to the bottom of the page. There you will find a link, Edge of Yesterday, click on that and you should be able to reach the Memorial page. Sorry for the inconvenience, and please let me know if this doesn't work and I'll see what I can do.

I found my first entertainer friend in the first cantina I walked into. She was an aspiringmusician, and had started maybe an hour before I did. She and I took months to master together. I see her light at the Edge of Yesterday memorial.

In that same cantina was my mentor, my teacher. She taught me exactly what it was to be an entertainer, to be a dancer. She gave me my very first outfit. I see her light at the Edge of Yesterday memorial.

A member of my guild had left the game for a while. She was a Pistoleer/CH. She bought a second account and created a Dancer with her. I passed on all my knowledge to her, and she became an outstanding dancer. A great addition to our guild and to my cantina. Then the guild approved the use of a buffbot, and she become quite distressed. I see her light at the Edge of Yesterday memorial.

It really is difficult to explain to people what the place does to you if you have any love for your entertainer profession at all. If this is you, then please visit the memorial.

Greetings, friends. I'm happy to say that I've finally gotten the Featured Display for July up and The Edge of Yesterday is again open to the public!

I'd like to extend my invitation to visit the Memorial at any time, and please let me know if there is an event you would like to hold in the Memorial, I would be happy to see what arrangements I can make for you. If you are looking for more information about the cantina forthis or anything else, please check my website at http://www.calcreations.net/EoY_home.htm. If there are any further questions, please feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my ability.

One final bit of business: I am sorry about how long this month's update took and I hope ones in the future are smoother. During the month of June, twelve new names were submitted for the Memorial and a few corrections were made where people were attributed to incorrect servers. I have not updated my lists of entertainers who have left the professions since June 27 because of all the turmoil of the last couple of weeks. I have been unsure of who is actually leaving and who is not. These names will be added when I update the cantina again in August.

Thank-you for everything!

-Lilo
