hi all

is there a way i can keep my insperation buff while i'm performing?

I can buff myself, and reach the max 180 minutes, but as soon as i start performing again, I lose all benefits

Grinding up is slooooooow enough anyway.

If you are a dancer and you type /stopwatch while performing the insperation icon seems to stay there, for musicians though the icon disapears after a while when the game forces you to listen to yourself again... I do not know if you will get extra XP for doing this though as insperation buff may not work on Entertainment XP by design now.

i tried this, the insp buff does stick and work, until you start buffing yourself again, as soon as the length of your buff starts to increase, you lose the benefits

when you stop dancing/playing the buff appears, but when you do your next flourish etc.. it goes again

I've not been able to keep the inspiration buff increase stable - there seem to be a few too many variables that are unknowns - but I did notice recently on one of my new entertainer characters that if I am grouped with someone with at least novice entertainer, then when they stop watching I begin to get the increased xp. Note that the person I was grouped with did not perform and I was not watching or listening to them so this is probably a bug and may be just as unreliable as any other method.

Maybe when someone stops watching dancers you also stop watching yourself? Kind oflike Musicians stop listening to themselves when people stop listening.

Yup..that's a problem for both dancers and musicians. Please /bug it when you see it.

DOH! But so far it's the only way my poor newbie entertainer can get the xp bonus... ah well most of my bug reports don't seem to be going very far these days so hopefully that won't won't either

Dancers can type /stopwatch to stop watching themselves and get the xp bonus from being inspired. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for Musicians.

There is a way to reap the benefits of your inspiration buff bonus for entertainer exp. You need to dance/play in a place that you can't give in inspiration buff. So, go 'tank up' on an inspiration buff inside a cantina/private house/theater/etc. and then go perform in the street. You will receive the full benefit of the 10% exp additon for the full duration. I know this works with dance, and probably music, too. However, I could not test music since I've been maxed out on Music exp for months now.

The stopwatch {self} command hasn't worked for me for 2 weeks. So far the only way I can get the bonus to healing xp is for the other entertainer to stop watching.
