I think those are fighting words in these here parts.

I have been grinding all 3 entertainer professions and have found it so mind-numbingly unstimulating
First, this makes me cry.
You need to find some fun people to dance with! ![]()
Second, I don't know... on the one hand, we all agree EH is a chore (I mastered 100% ATK, so I really know
) ... on the other hand, we have some confusion on what is considered ok with AFK grinding and what isn't. The Devs have said it's allowed, but they've also now said they want it reduced (in the translated transcript)... the CM thing has been around forever and some people say the Devs say it's an exploit. I've never read that personally, so... I have to ask. ![]()
Nice guide though!

Heheh..and I've mastered dance twice..never afk. No offense taken though. It does take a special kind of player to enjoy a social class such as the entertainer profs. And I've never objected to a little work. I'm also tkm on my dancer, have 2 craft characters, run a faction/pa independent player city as well as remain active in a non-dev designed profession (decorator)..some of us like to actively participate in the games we subscribe to. I honestly feel sad for those who choose not to.
It also requires a little thinking out of the box to enjoy anything so dominated by afk players as our profession is at this time. And I've found that ATK'ing is infectious. When I'm in the cantina other entertainers know I'll be around chatting people up, playing with dances and having fun. They stick around too..because we all play to have fun. Once you're done with your grind, come back to the cantina when you want a heal or buff and a little light conversation. Some of us will still be around..and at the keyboard.
Good luck on your grind.

Instead of spending time writing macros to play the game for you, why don't you try a profession you enjoy and PLAY the game? If you like writing macros so much, get a job as a programmer, I think it'll be more satisfying than posting here.
And no, I don't find the macros in the post particularly useful to anyone. All it does is degrade gameplay for everyone. If I want to play with a bunch of macros, I'll play KOTOR. I didn't pay for this game to play with your crummy macros.
Go post macros on how to cheat the game and exploit our profession on some other forum, I'm sick of this crap taking up space that could be useful.

And as to reporting the posted macro to the mods: I think not. This is purely made within the frame for macros provided by the game. Why can't you guys be a little more understanding? You know, you guys will still be around after the holo frenzy has subsided. And just like the other "true" professionals you have something the grinders lack, know how. You know how to conduct a performance that utilizes the best things your professions have to offer. Pretty much like crafters collect resources and build an understanding of how to put the pieces together in order to get a good final product, so do you know how to entertain and make people feel comfortable.
Why don't you extend a helping hand to the ones who chose the holo hunt? I know lots of other professions do. Just help them out and send them on their merry way
You should re-read Panthu's post Knasboll.
She said that she WASN'T going to report this to the mods, but did want to make sure that this kind of info was allowed to be posted, presumably so that Bal'Inki doesn't get banned.
So, in actual fact, Panthu is looking out for Bal'Inki. ![]()
Just trying to stop the flames from starting *prepares fireblanket*

5 stars! I also use macros to get through this stage of holo-grinding. I use a macro that is similar but there are some things from yours I will take. That being said.. it would be really cool if you would remove that part about the CM spamming about his macro and what it does. That gets old real fast. I think most know what the CM is doing and as long as your group knows that is all that matters. my 2 cents.
Anyway, my original post is somehow gone so I'll leave it there.
Keep up the good work, all real entertainers.
