As a former Master Dancer I had to drop the skill points to explore a new profession (cooking
).
I am keeping Master entertainer and Novice dancer just to be able to use the droids' Entertainer Lighting Effects Module.
So I wondered while I play entertainer songs, can I still heal BF, because I am novice dancer? Or I would heal BF only using entertainer's dancing moves?
And second question is, can I use droids'lighting effects if I choose novice musician?
Thanks.

You can play music and the healing that you earned under master entertainer will allow you to heal the shock wounds. (bf)

As far as I know, you will be able to heal at your highest level of healing. That might be the highest box on in Entertainer, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what song you're playing or dance you're doing. What matters is your entertainer healing (or battle fatigue healing) boxes. Someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this. heh.
But, as a side note. I'm doing something similar to what you're doing. I'm changing my template a little, dropping some of the other skills that I was dabbling in in order to Master Entertainer, and get Novice Musician. I'm a Master Dancer right now, which I will be keeping. But, I always hated the fact that I was missing out on formal2 in that Master Entertainer box. And, I also want to have a playback droid, which is why I'm also going Novice Musician. I'll have a few skill points left over, so I'm going up 3 boxes on the Musician tree. I mostly want to play the bandfill, which is at box 2. I want to be able to record a nice bass beat for me to use and dance to if I'm the only one in an otherwise empty Cantina with no music.
Or, at the very least, as much as I love dancing, if I'm performing alone I may just want to play music. Dancing isn't *quite* as fun when there's no music to dance to.
