Well, as a tailor, I sell clothes with +25 to both music and dance wound healing for anywhere from 30k (Hotpants, etc) to 90k (Robe of honor, most expensive enhanced clothes you can get). That's about market price, give or take some depending on server. If I were to sell something as low as +4, the price would be well under 10k, possibly under 5. Considering +25 is the max you can get, I'd say not a whole lot. 4-7k tops is what I'd pay. Course I never thought + to wound healing was very beneficial to entertainers who typically heal wounds fast and have to wait on BF healing. But that's just my opinion so YMMV.

Of course, a lot of it varies by server. You'd probably be better off posting in your galaxy trade forum. I'm probably low on price as I've heard that people will pay quite a bit for skill tapes, even when they aren't very spectacular. I don't have any personal experience. Now if it weren't something that could be bio-enhanced for (Such as mind enhancement or BF healing) I'd say it would be worth more.

But... im talking about a skill tape... Example: a +25Wound HealingRobe of Honor + a +4 Skill Tape means a +29 Robe of Honor worth even more....

You cannot add +4 CA to +25 clothes to get a +29 to skill. The devs capped the additional skill gained from SEA to +25.

So even though you might see in your skills that you have +29 to wound healing there is stil the +25 hard cap.

So unforunately your +4 CA is almost worthless.

Afraid so GerRob. Well, not nothing.. Now you've got more selection of what you can wear. You aren't limited to just one set of clothes to wear for a certain bonus.

It is kind of annoying.. The numbers show up, but the effects don't. For a long time I wasn't entirely sure on this.. But when customers came in asking for something, I'd let them know that it may be the case, and that I didn't know for sure. That didn't stop them from spending up to 200k and sometimes even more on an outfit just for the best numbers.

It wasn't until I'd made something for a doctor.. Just one thing because that is all they could afford at the time, but it was +25. Like pretty much everyone does when they get their new doctor's clothes, they tested their buffs to see the improvement. They noted a distinct improvement. So I decided to loan them a set of clothes off my vendor to give them +75 instead of +25, and they tested again, and saw it exactly the same. Now I tell people up front that they only need +25. Even then I still get people buying more.

Is the bonus capped at +25, or is the MAX capped at 125?

Couldn't answer that I fear. It's a little bit harder of a test to coordinate. I seem to recall hearing something about a cap on the skill bonus at +25... But that could always have been someone talking about masters.

Hi. I know nothing about Entertainer profession (I've just opened my next holocron, and guess what it said...Entertainer) However, just a thought to throw in to this conversation. Doctors are also capped at +25% wound and injury treatment. They buy their +25% robe, etc in order to increase the amount they buff.I am a Master Chef, and make a food called Bivoli that gives a +25% bonus to wound treatment also. Even though the Doctors have the 25% cap, when they eat the Bivoli they still get an increase in the amount they buff on top of they bonus for the clothing they are wearing, obove the 25% cap.

Just a thought, perhaps your skill tape isn't worthless after all.

The cap is only on "permanent" skill mods like skill tapes and enhanced clothing and such. Situational skill mods (Food, abilities, squad leaders, etc) go above the cap. That much I do know.

Unfortunately, as is typical for the entertainer profession, I don't believe there is a similar food or drink item that boosts the mind or secondary buffs for us in the same manner as Bivoli does for doctors. . . If you know of one, please tell us!
