This is a thread which will be posted on the other entertainment boards as well. I would like a full list of names and servers for our friends who have left the entertainment professions or the game for whatever reason. I will use myself as an example (no, I am not actually leaving atm, this is only an example.):

I was a rifleman/musician a loong time back. Left that cause I didn't see any need to keep going with it. Had other plans for those skillpoints.

Lilo this will be a very hard thread to read without getting teary eyed. I'm sure there are more that I've missed, but when these two left I was devastated and I will always remember them. Their leaving was a very personal loss to me.


To leave this post on an upbeat I am very glad you are back in the Ent field, Lilo. ***hugs***

RfL: Not enough skill points! I missed being "badass" and wanted to regain a combat profession...then I decided to pick up BE to make the tissues for the clothes we sell in our shop. We used to offer image design services in the shop, but there was too little interest to justify the skill point investment.

RfL: Tired of dealing with children and power gamers who do not care about the Star Wars immersion. The few role-players I did find were not enough to counter the frustration of playing by myself in a game with thousands of players.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.

RfL: Said his time in SWG was over. He was just done with the game. Also had several RL issues that came up that interfered with gameplay.


Gon'r was my first entertainer friend in SWG, and became someone very, very dear to me. While I still talk to him on AIM, I miss being able to dance with him in the cantinas. He was a significant part of my ID grind (was always a willing guinea pig) and was a wonderful friend. I'll never stop trying to talk him into coming back. Until I am successful, I'll never dance without thinking of him.

Let me be the first


Cancelled all three of my accounts yesterday because of the image design revamp. I will no longer give sony any of my money for giving me bug fixes, new colors, a crappy ui with timers and squares so small it takes a farking magnifying glass to see, and other crap we did not only not ask for but don't want and calling it a successful revamp. They can continue to please the "masses" with half assed work but I for one am done. I was a master dancer and the first (to my knowledge) master image designer on Naritus.

If I listed all the people that have left dancing that I know, I would just cry.... At least 15 that I can think of without even trying (gone forever from the game.)

Rest assured, this thread is here for a reason I am not ready to announce yet, but I think it will be worth the pain of recollection.
