Help me friends. I humbly post to our eloquent boards in hopesof a solution to my problem. How do I set a macro to allow my dancer to mind buff all day while im afk? I have asked some friends in game and they either did not know or said it was to long to set up.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you were not so polite I'd crucify you right about now.

Make a standard macro with evenly spaced flourishes and a looping statement.

Throw one or more /join lines in the macro.

Make sure your friends know you are a buff-bot. All they have to do is invite you, wait for a /join to accept the invitation, and watch for the passive buff.

Do not, under any circumstances, use spatial chat in the macro.

/wince I'm with Rygar.If you weren't so cordial about it, I'd just ignore you. But since you are...some questions before I can help you out with this one:

What are your Action stats? That determines how fast you can flourish unattended and/or un-buffed.

Are the friends you want to buff able to either heal you or buff you?

Where were you planning on parking yourself to do this?

A friend of my who has a Jedi character is being sailing out ( he's in the Navy) he has not advanced very far with his jedi and is pretty frustrated with the current system (especially the fact that SOE forces you into PvP and then imposes HEAVY Xp loses for the slain jedi. He has died once or twice, so he might be jaded a little.) He has offered to let my play with him while he is gone for the next 6 months.

I have been lurking this forum for a week now trying to get a feel for what I have to look forward to when I finally log in and I was wondering if any of you Jedi out there who actually progressed to a point of being able to defend and or get away from BH's have an tips you could give me? I get the impression that his jedi goes down pretty quick under the onslaught of the BH parties that killed him. I have never been involved in pvp, and would hate to give him back his character in at least as good a shape as when he left and not 10mil in the hole!!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't go around showing off your lightsaber. Don't kill NPC's, don't duel, and don't use force powers like crazy. Then you can avoid BH Terminals all together.

If you are going to play using your friend's Jedi character, I would suggest the following -

1. Don't grind XP at POIs such as the Squill Cave.

2. Stay away from crowds.

3. If you see another player approach you on the radar, drop everything that you are doing and run.

4. Get Force Run as soon as you can.

5. If a BH confronts you, just run.

It may not be the best way to play a Jedi character in terms of advancement but it will probably allow you to return the Jedi character to your friend in a relatively intact state, and you might even advance in a skill box or two for him.

Hi All.

I am new to starwars galaxies. I am eventlually going to become a Doctor, I have mastered Medic. I am now working on Doctor, Right now i am having a hard time with the crafting and finding the resources. I am on the Eclipse Server can anyone help me with where i can find the resources to start crafting the more advanced medsand also is there a crafting marco i can use.

I crafted Biologic effect controllers over and over, using bad, cheap resources, gimme a /tell in game and id be happy to help you find some resources you could use.

Dont waste your time on anything other than Adv Bio effect Controllers. The caveat though, is you need to find or throw some personal harvs down for- Lok Wheat and Tatooine Fiberplast.

I think 35k of each will be more than enough.
