Entertainer camp – Much like a scout camp, this would be a pavilion or other temporary structre designed just for events. Musical instruments, tables, chairs, bar etc. Something players can use for weddings or other functions out in the world. (good idea, thanks Pex)

Form Bands - Much like guilds, but max number around 15-20, only entertainers allowed, and can be booked through a special station thingie inside a cantina, for lets say, weddings and such.

Costumes - For special events (or regular events, only for entertainers) wookie or other alien costumes. Walk around looking like the famous Chewbacca, or Watto, or any other famous character! These can be made by Tailors, who have to buy a special make-up component made by Image Designers (thnx to Tralmek for this improvement). They last for about 1.5h, then they auto-destruct!

I like your ideas... especially the "entertainer camp"!

I've started a ME/MM/MD char, but with her left over skillpoints I plan to go up the xxx4 scouting tree, Survival,for camping- so I can be a live entertainer on the go. (only wish BF could be healed in a camp, but ah well).

I doubt there will be much requests for her travelling services, but hey - it makes me feel happy and excited!

But an entertainer camp!... would be even more cool!

When I first started a scout, I also had entertainer, and it was surprising how many people came flying past and stopped in my camp, hung out for a while and healed. It was really nice.

(I understand this would be more for events, but.... as long as it works, right?)

These are good ideas, but honestly I'd rather see more content, all around - more hairstyles, lekku styles, more skin/hair color options, tattoos, piercings, etc. for IDs; more songs, more instruments (especially drums, cymbals, something that can give a bass line and a rhythm), having instruments that all sound different, being able to create instruments that give bonuses for certain songs or races (Wookiee drums, I'd imagine, would be pretty impressive) for musicians; more dances, maybe requiring props or special clothes (tap, flamenco, etc., or things that are sort-of like those) for dancers; in general more flourishes for everyone. We already have race-specific stuff for image designers, but I think that idea should be expanded so that each race has a unique dance and song, which members of that race start out knowing (thus, a reason to play, say, a Trandoshan musician) - but that other musicians/dancers can learn by doing quests and such.

There's so much potential here; the devs just need to find a way to dig into it.

I like the ideas, though I'd venture a suggestion on changing the Costume idea.

ID's want more content, Tailors want more content. I'd suggest that costumes should be created using a combination of Tailor and ID skills in order to give both professions more content, as well as saving them from some of the feelings of defeat that were cast across Musicians when jukeboxes were introduced to take over skills which should have belonged to Musicians.

It's always a good idea to give things to players and not to NPC's when you can.
