Thread: Give us a /diagnose
- Mindwounds (While they are still around)
- Battle Fatigue
So that we can see what kind of BF and wounds people have..
We should also be able to do this while Dancing and Playing Music

A /diagnose ability was asked for by the IDs several times for stat migrations. So, there is another reason to have it but we'll also lose that reason soon enough.
IDs don't need it as bad anymore though since it actually tells you if they have wounds when you try and start the migration instead of after the timer has run out and you commit it.
The only reason I would reallywant to have it now is to see for myself if the buff took. After the CU, it may still have thisuse if we still have some sort of buff. I've never really wondered how many mind wounds/BF my audience had.
/diagnose does not currently allow you to see if buffs have taken. It only shows the number of wounds on each stat and the Battle Fatigue. As a Doctor I use this all the time, and when I have Medic skills with an Entertainer, I also use it. I like being able to let customers know when they're completely healed. It leaves the pathway open for RP conversation along the lines of "you're looking much more relaxed now than when you came in." It also allows you to calculate how much healing xp you'll make (if you're bothering to count), and you can let your customers know when they're all healed or getting close to it. If you're doing a good job Entertaining, chances are they aren't paying closeattention to their character sheet.
/diagnose is a very useful tool for any profession that has a healing ability. It is now even further out of reach for Entertainers though, since with the Combat Updarebalavamp, it will be moved from Novice Medic up a couple boxes along the healing lines. ![]()

A /diagnose would probably be very welcome indeed
Oh, as we're here talking, I'd love to be able to /diagnose even when performing :] (hmm, im starting to ask too much

At Novice Entertainer you get /diag and you see Mindwounds, but only if they're more than 500. Each box of EH reduces the limit by 100 so that at Novice Dancer/musician (or Master Entertainer) you see all wounds.
Also Novice Dancer/musician adds BF, but only over 500. Each box reduces that limit by 100 so at Master Dancer/Musician you see all the BF as well

Wouldn't call it a sure thing, most abilities give the message "Can't be done while skill animating" and i think the medic /diagnose also doesnt work while dancing

Totally true Coreena, that's why we're asking for it explicitly
Entertainers should be able to see that people have BF. Period.
