Heya..

Was wondering if a dancer made up a routine, is it possible to have other dancers synchronize flourishes, like musicians seem to do? If not, I think it would be kind of wierd if they couldn't.

Yes, refer to the posts about use of band flourishes, works exactly the same for dancers. But the only person who gets xp is the one doing the bandflourishing so you need to work out how to handle that with your fellow dancers and don't go mad with it e.g. /bandfl 1;

I've worked with a few times with dancers when we have sync'd our dances without using the /bandflourish command. You can copy and past text files in SWG you just need to assignkeys to do so. Then email your macro's to each other. It takes a little bit of work to get the timing down pat to start the macro at the same time but it looks really good and everyone gets exp. One thing we have found is that if someone falls while doing a flourish it will normally get the routine off a beat. I'm sure this could be done with musicians as well to get around the we want to perform as a band but we want to all get xp for doing so.

Interesting with the cut n paste stuff . Though I do find that just having people alternate between /bandfl's works very will with my bands I jump to and from (I'm not with any in particular as I have a side job fightin with my friends IRL, can't dedicate 100% of my time to it). Just have everyone in the group make /bandfl macro's and run them as they please, if it sounds horrid, change some...the tweaking gets good . Also do single flourishes as it sounds good to have one person doing a different one while everyone else is doing the same. So many options .

As far as dancing goes I like when I see dancers doing the same thing for a bit and then going off on their own and then back to the same. Makes for a more enjoyable experience from the stage and I'm sure the people in the seats like it too.

Still though thats an awesome idea there with cutting and pasting...having everyone start at the same time .
