I guess I dont get the threads about how entertainers should 'behave'. These are cantinas people are performing in. There is nothing wrong with a lack of civility.

I can understand some performers who are trying to be classy might get upset. But thats why there are theatres and such.

I dont like the undie dancers but if thats the type of entertainer someone wants to play its okay with me. I play a terribley flirtatious and even obnoxious dancer. I just imagine her in the cantina setting. In real life Im just a normal nice girl.

These kind of games are to let us let loose. Dont take it so seriously. And Im really not so worried if customers tip or not. I like roleplaying. The tips are just a side perk.

Entertaining isnt fun when the other entertainers are so uptight. Relax and enjoy the experience

Jolo Kencha on Starsider is a pretty mercenary, me first, type of guy. He wants to be rich, he wants to be famous and very little will stand in the way of his goals.

So he's very comfortable in Tat's "Anything Goes" bars/ For him the vottom line is showmanship not taste exactly, so if a dancer can make more money doing things another dancer wouldn't dream of, he all good with that.

His inly real judgement is the bottom line but he also fears that the less respectable musicians acr, the less they will be respected - including him.

Added to this is the fact that he was raised by his mother in one of Mos Entha's pleasure houses, The Corpus Infucata, and has seen a lot of human depravity in his life. His attitude toward dancers fluctuates wildly between wanttin to protect them and wanting to exploit them.

My dancer just wants to catch a rich husband. She tries being sweet. She tries being not so sweet. And she tries outright force if she thinks she can bully them. Great fun.

We are lucky to have cantinas. Where else can we rp so completely?
