I was training by the theatre on Rori / restuss.. I decided to try out my nes song.. so I sat in front of the microphone. After a bit I realized that you could "turn it on" Then I noticed you could turn the Speakers on. I had a friend run by.. he could not hear the music unless listening to me.. It did not allow his BF to go down.

So my question is.. why can you turn the Microphones and speakers on and off? We could find no difference in the music. If you find yourself on a stage.. try it out and let me know.

Last I heard, speaker/mic functionality is not in game yet. Though you can turn them on/off, I don't believe they do anything at this point.

I believe if i am not mistaken that this will be added in a patch down the road. I am of the understanding that its for creating a party of sorts. You can turn on the speakers and mic and then anyone in the area can hear. You don't earn healing exp, and you cant heal BF. Its more of an entertainment thing that will have its functionality added later.

There are outdoor stages, so it makes me believe it will be like a block party kinda thing. That way you could have it at night. Muscians with light shows, Artisans lighting fireworks etc. And everyone can just hang out and have a good time. I hope this goes in kinda soon. Sounds like alot of fun to me.

Yes, the microphones are non-functional right now.

I really hope, though, that the stages WILL allow anyone withing listening radius to heal battle fatigue. As it stands, there are stages everywhere that go unused just because there's no reason to go there. Heck, you CAN heal battle fatigue in the hotels and theaters and no-one uses those either. The outdoor stages are visible enough that people would stop and congregate at them if they knew they could get their battle fatigue healed.

In fact, if they get the microphones operational, I'd really like to see a kind of portable stage appear (a droid, maybe) that a troupe of entertainers could drop down anyplace and do a performance.
