Thread: Gig Missions
yea...I have read all the guides. I'm wanting actual coordinates..but thank you...the theaters are a great place for me to start
I took a gig mission from a noble in the Dearic Theatre. She said to head to these coordinates (thakfully a short distance) and just play; so I followed the waypoint to just outside the front door of the cantina. So I played there for a little while, then gave up and headed inside to try. A group was playing and invited me to join them which I did. Still nothing, so I went back to the NPC whojust repeated the original gig invite spiel.
Played for her, hadmyfellow entertainers /listen at each location, tried to zero in on the mission waypoint only to keep getting "6m to the W", "6m to the NE". Never could find the sweet spotthrough mission details onthe datapad. After about 30 minutes of trying various combos and actions, still no indication I was even warm so I aborted.
For an easier 500cr, run two long distance delivery missions. Forget gig missions - what a pain!
Vul Pecula, staying home in Nashal for a while on the Wanderhome server.
Okay... you did not do it correctly. I find that a gig mission takes me 10 mins to do from start to finish and is better than running delivery missions.
1. Get gig by speaking to the noble in the theatre who is speaking with the musician / dancer trainers to stage left.
2. Keep asking for a new gig until you get one in the local cantina or hotel.
3. Waypoints only show up at entrances to buildings, you need to go INSIDE the building to play the gig. e.g. in a hotel use the stage, in a cantina the dancefloor.
4. Start playing your instrument or dancing (depending on gig type) for 5 minutes CONTINUOUSLY using flourishes. Do not stop or you will have to start over.
5. When the noble is happy you have proved yourself you will be notified of gig mission complete and the credits transferred to bank.
NOTE: You doNOT need someone watching or listening to you to complete gig missions. Although as entertainers it is nice to have an audience, for the gig you do not need one.
Good luck!
