Thread: independant /bandflourish commands ???
I remember reading somewhere that a band leader/ band player.
could type for example /flo fizz 4
to make all the Fizz player's in the band group flourish
Is this now possible ? or was it just anumber on beta
Not tested that one... but in Dearic at the moment we have been working on some routines together to achieve the effect of a bandflourish but actually flourishing independently.
e.g. We choose someone to lead A and they lead with a flo 8, every one else then chimes in with 4, 2, 1 no pauses. Looks and sounds great when a few of you are doing it. We have a few of these, the more you play together the more you can throw in, great fun but does hurt the brain after awhile *grins*.
So even if the commands aren't implemented in game, a good bit of band practice and jamming achieves a better effect with everyone feeling like they are contributing to a live performance rather than one person (or even passing it around) doing bandfls. Try it

/bandflourish # instrument
As an example:
/bandfloursh 1 slitherhorn
ps. I think they screwed up the fizzz, by the way. In beta, at least, you had to type 'fizz' (two 'z's).

You can do it by instrument, NICE! Wow, that opens up all kinds of possibilities for writing songs now doesn't it...

Wow. Would that work with dances, using the dance name instead of instrument name?
Or does it essentially work like that now? I had a gal /bandflourishing with me while dancing tonight, it seemed to be limited to the two of us (I think we only had one other dancer in the group at that time and she was doing a different dance)
