anyone else notice the mess it makes?

it works perfectly if you're solo, but in a band it will break a million things if you try it. just don't use it and hopefully they will remove the command all together. Fixing it would be nice, but of the 1000 things that go wrong when you use it, which should they fix first? Just remove it, thanks.

it works fine in the bands i play in. We've never had a problem that i have noticed.

We've had problems aplenty in Sunrunner's Theed Cantina. Inevitably, with a large group, 1 person will continue playing the last song while everyone else switches to the new song. Even if you do a bandstop or that person stops playing their instrument, the melody continues. To stop it, you have to /stoplisten, and even then, if the band starts again, that one instrument will continue playing on its own. The only solution now is for that person to log off for a few minutes and log back on.

Still, very avoidable, if you know it. Just have the bandleader do a /bandstop, then a /bandstart with the new song.

you are talking about /changeband, yes?

i use /changedance all the time, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems whatsoever; then again, it only changes it for me, not all the other dancers. personally, i think its a very useful tool, and should be made to work properly for musicians as well.
