Thread: NOVICE Entertainer that only wants Healing Song I...how can it be done?
you will gain Ent Healing xp by having people watch you perform.
unfortunately, you dont gain xp from healing yourself. you will heal you BF and mind wounds by doing so though.
try performing in front of an audience and watch the healing xp come rolling in. the bigger the crowd and band, the more xp!
Are you talking about Entertainer Healing I? As you might imagine, you get it by healing people (via playing for them).
The more people watching you/healing, the more xp you get. It is like being a medic in the sense that your healing xp won't go up by healing yourself.
Having said that, do you actually need it to heal yourself? I'm not sure...
When an entertainer plays a song or dances they automatically heal. The rate goes up as they get better at entertainer healing.
If someone with mind wounds or battle fatigue watches you perform, you will get entertainer healing xp. To get music or dance XP you have to eprform a flourish or two.
I have a ranger/2handed sword type that spends a lot of time in the mist of danger, and often is on planets where there are no entertainers to be found. So I took up the learning of Novice Entertainer.
How can I get EXP so as to rasie my novice entertainer to that of healing song I? I play at catinias and never get exp for my efforts...though my BD does improve. Just how can I get exp for healing song I?

You never get experience?
I'm going out on a limb here and assuming that you're a part-timer whodoesn't know about flourishing.
Look in the "other" section of your abilities, in the 'F' section. See those flourishes? Drag them all to your hotkeys. When you hit those hotkeys, you'll do flourishes and get music XP.
As stated by others, you only get healing XP when someone with battle fatigue or mind wounds listens to you in a cantina, hotel, or theater. (Camps work for mind wounds but not for battle fatigue.)
There's no such thing as healing song 1. As a novice entertainer with no experience, you can heal battle fatigue. Just not in camps. Not even if you're a master musician.
