I tried to heal my friends BF in several camps and couldnt get his BF to go down any. Is this a bug?

i dont think it's supposed to work in camps.

correct me if i'm wrong.

we need a statement from the devs to look at on a few of these issues so that everyone is working from the same page. This one and the charge up front / deny services would nice to have a comment like "looking into it" or "already decided here's our choice for the next patch"

Right, doesn't work in camp. I can see a couple of good reasons for this.

1) it gives people a reason to return to town, speficially cantinas. A tool to promote socializing in what is a social type of game.

2) keep the "career" entertainer profession valuable. If you could heal BF in camp then a scout could take novice entertainer and would have no use for anything a real entertainer can do, besides the fact that it just takes a bit longer for the scout to do it himself. There are some combo classes that are very nearly self-sufficient, but interdependancy is important too.
