Thread: Master Entertainer
Hehe, I just got this game Friday, and I just made Master Entertainer an hour ago. People were amazed that I made it in 4 days! With no AFK macro'ing!
But questions are...why do formal and formal2 have those stupid basic dance moves in them, and why doesn't Master Entertainer get the ability to make mandoviol? I mean, musicians don't get to be able to play it, so why do they get to be able to make it? I'm not quite understanding why Entertainer gets it in the first place, it's the only stringed instrument, yeah?
Love ceremony song, though. And footloose2 is slightly more tolerable than footloose.
Just confuzzled, hehe.

I'd justlike tostart off with a quick congratulations.
On to the questions:
1) dance moves: Yes, the basic moves included in formal looks silly. Big update coming tomorrow will add new dance flourishes (clicks over to list...) Um, but it doesn't look like formal is listed, just rhythmic, lyrical, and poplock. It may be a small omission in the listing, or we may have to put up with it it bit longer. Check out here for details (scroll down to "Entertainer, Dancer, and Musician" section):

2) Mando crafting: It looks like the intention is for crafting skill requirementto be higher than playing skill. You need to find a musician with Music Techniques II to craft one. This also ties into...
3) Entertainer getting mandoviol at all: You may want to tread carefully on this issue. It's a real sore spot for musicians who don't want to spend the skill points/time on dance and image design to get IMHO the coolest instrument available. I recommend enjoying your special instrument, and fight to keep it.
BTW, have you played SW1 with the mando yet? If not, give it a try; you'll be pleasently surprised...
Yes, first thing I tried was ceremonial, then folk...and then starwars1...
I was so happy, I ran out to the stage area near the bank in Bestine...and just started jamming.
Had a small crowd in no time, and they TIPPED me, though I told them I wasn't healing anything.
It was awesome.
But yeah, I'll check out in development.
Thanks

Hi
I know the question have been surely posted by someone, but there is so much thing to read. That i post it again. To gain the Master Entertainer, do you have to get all the things in the panel. I don't want to be an Image Designer, do i have to get all four level to get the Master Entertainer level. I have music 4, Healing 4, Dance 3, and i got my 620 apprentices points. Can i get it or not.
Thanks for your comprehension
Patrick
However, if you want to go on to dancing, music and the entertaining heals therein....you can do so...w/o Image designing! You also do not get Master Entertainer....It's up to you solely...

I just achieved Master Entertainer, and I think it was worth it. I started out as a wannabe-musician, but discovered Image Designer is actually a pretty cool profession in-and-of-itself. To tell the truth, I enjoyed the week I spent as a hairstylist. Being a male dancer was a bit of adrag ... but I lived through it. Yes, you need all four levels of all four entertainer skills before you can be a Master Entertainer. And I think it's right that way. You can still be a Master Musician without being a Master Entertainer -- or you can be both. It's not that tough. If anything, my only complaint about Master Entertainer is that I didn't gain any new Image Design abilities from it! ...
... remember, a Master Entertainer isn'tjust a musician, andthe titleought torepresentmore than just a Mandoviol-playing fool! It's wortwhile though ... just branch out and experiment a bit. You'll get there before you know it...
