Thread: Entertainers and the GCW...
That got me thinking.. What sort of benefeit could entertainers get for picking a side on the GCW? Right now as a primary entertainer, I have no reason to pick a side and every reason not to.
And no, I don't see a boost to healing ability as a benefeit. It doesn't benefeit the entertainer, just the people watching/listening.

Otherwise, the only benefit I could see would be to receive an instrument as a faction perk. Kind of a funny way to spend your faction points, but maybe if it was an instrument with a new look (like a mandovial that looks like an electric guitar) that might be interesting.
What I'd really like to see is entertainer missions that take you out into the field to entertain camps of rebels/imperials for faction points. If they made the faction camps also heal BFand gave you a global TEF for doing the mission then they'd be adding the danger that would justify a good monetary and faction reward, and they'd also give the entertainer the potential to attract a player audience from local hunters.
I think covert ent should give higher buffs and more healing to others members of their faction. You know moral support for their fellows in arms. Not sure how this would be implmented but its an idea.
And if this was a real war, ent could use fame to futher and gain support for which ever side they support. They could give aid (as in their proifts) to their side, pass along information in songs or dance.
