Thread: Talk Dirty To Me

Yep, that's what this big wookie said to me just a few minutes ago.....it's my 2nd day of being an entertainer (yes, I'm one of those un-holy hologrinders). This wookie, who will remain nameless, repeated his /tell just in case I had missed it and added that he'd pay well for my services. I guess playing an instrument isn't enough?

I've spent the majority of my time playing (since July) as a Doctor so I'm familiar with dealing with patients but this totally took me by surprise. Is this a whole new economy in my galaxy that I've yet to experience?

"So a Wookiee, a Zabrak, and an Ewok walk into a cantina. All three are filthy and have obviously been rolling around in mud. The barkeep turns to the Zabrak and says, 'Dang you're horny!'"

My "dirty" joke for the week. Thank you.

Wait, is this kaa? Or rylock?

Anyways, I can't believe this guy can get away with something like that. He would walk up to ever dancer and /flirt with them and apparently send them nasty tells. And, well, I started pissing him off. I would walk up to his face and /lick him and do various other emotes that you wouldn't usually see one guy do to another. He stopped using emotes, so I figured he stopped. He didn't. He started harassing this one girl through tells, and when I found out, I started a little shout macro, saying if anyone wanted to be sexually harassed, to send him a tell. Someone else threatened to report him, and I think he apologized to that person, but not the people who he harassed. So iono...keep a look out I guess?

Welcome to the business. Yes, being harassed is part of the job. And this really was a light variant of what you will hear in the future about once or twice a week Talk about respect...

It freaks me out less in cantinas than it does when I'm just walking around and someone sees my tag and asks for this, er, service.

I've never been one to begrudge someone their good time, so I just usually politely reply that "I'm sorry, I do not provide that service" and don't cause them any trouble... the ninja lickers, achers, and kissers get roars and growls from me though.

Heh…got a kiss the other day—and mind you, I'm an Image Designer, so I was just sitting at a table minding my own business. My response: /stand;/duel. He incap'd me, but I think leading off with /pistolMeleeDefense1 got my point across. (I was harassed my first night on Kettemoor…stopped me dead in my tracks, since then I've had a harassment = duel policy. I may not win, but at least I won't sit back and do nothing.)

I love this idea. It's now my new policy. I'm also a Master Commando and I plan on keeping the Flamethrower tree while I master Musican. Time to use a hotkey for my weapon of choice.
Thanks for the brillant idea.

To some extent harassment, or unwanted advances are a problem inherent with playing a female toon. My main toon is a female wookiee, an 8ft tall furry critter. But I still get hit on because I'm playing a female 8ft tall furry critter. /sigh

I'm afraidthere may bea small niche market even for a fat, hairless Mon-Calamari male...

No, I don't want to know, thank you very much.
