/deny [name] (without brackets of course, or you can just target them and don't have to type the name) or /denyservice [name] one of those two I don't use them much.

To undeny you type it again. But logging off also automatically removes them from the deny list.

I have my own personal list of people that I will not serve. It's currently a whopping two ^-^.

Some people get touchy about this subject saying that we shouldn't need it, or we can roleplay around it, and I agree. But I don't want to stop giving someone a buff just to sit down and roleplay out my denial. (and I enjoy roleplay a great deal) these two individuals I will not be helping and no amount of persuasion will change my mind. One is terribly immature to me and quite rude all around. And the other was going on about how 'useless' the entertainer profession is and how stupid we all are.... then dared ask for a buff from the girl he was bad mouthing. When she roleplayed her refusal, the other three masters sat down and did also. I don't know about them, but I feel no obligation to that indivdual. I am not there to serve him ^-^.

Those of us who do believe that we have a right to decide who we offer our services to keep our own personal lists. But I think most also don't really think it's right to go posting their names all over the boards just to be slanderous. The really bad ones, other dancers can see coming a mile away and can make their own call from there.

I have never denied any one, but I wonder....do they see that they have been denied? Like do they get a message saying "so and so has denied you service"?

Yes they do and the one time I've denied service the guy sent me a tell asking why...after he had repeatedly insulted myself and my friends moments before.

1. How do you deny service to someone?

2. If you wanted to un-deny them, how do you do that?

3. Is there a list of all the people you have denied service to (like the ignore list)?

1. How do you deny service to someone? target them and type /denyservice

2. If you wanted to un-deny them, how do you do that? To the best of my knowledge, the /deny lasts only as long as you are dancing. Stop dancing and it is undone. Also, retarget them and type /denyservice again to undo the /deny.

3. Is there a list of all the people you have denied service to (like the ignore list)? No. It's a bummer. What I'd love to see is /ignore work to /deny and to have /deny stick as long as I have the person on ignore. After all, if they've offended me enough to ignore them, I probably don't want to heal them either.

you can easily permanently blacklist people.

just create a macro "blacklist" where you add your special
friends with
/addignore Special_Friend
/denyservice Special_Friend

and hit it once when you start your playsession...


And if you are a social type of entertainer you may even
spread the word to others of your type... of course this
guys can continue listen to AFK/Holo-tainers, but they are
reduced to this

But you can ban an entire guild from a player cantina (or any player building). Just add guildguildtag)
