Entertainer missions...

Actually, our missions are about the only thing I've had work consistantly for me as an Entertainer. Here are some things I've learned about them though.

Never stand right on the waypoint it gives you, always go inside the building that the waypoint is in front of. My first Ent mission, I must have spent 45 minutes playing music in front of a hotel before I realized the waypoint wasn't where I wanted to be.

The mission should complete after 10 minutes of continuous playing or dancing. If it doesn't, keep going for another 5 or so... sometimes(not toooften)they'll take longer to complete than 10 minutes.

You can take two missions at a time. Just find them at the same location (which could take several refreshes) and they will complete within a few seconds of eachother. (This means you could make about 400 credits every 10 minutes! I guess that's the Devs' idea of a livable income...if you did this continuallyfrom reset to reset, you'd have about 55k by the time you're done.)

Make sure you're doing the correct type of Entertaining for your mission. Default is dancing, but you can choose Music missions as well. Unfortunately, all missions will read as "Dancer" on your datapad, but you should be able to figure out which type you got by reading through the story and seeing if they talk about Dancing or Music in the mission's description.

Heh, sorry that went on so long...but our missions are touchy. Sadly, they're probably the least broken thing about the Entertainment professions....

Umm, I don't mean to leave you on a down note about the Entertainment professions. As broken as the system is, I love these professions more than any others in the game. (Yes, I have tried them all ) The Entertainment professions really bring a lot of good people together, and I'm proud to be counted as a member ofthis community. Sometimes our forums can seem a little negative, I'd suggest going to the Bria Server forums and check the backlogs of posts in the Jedi Profession forum. You might even want to swing past the Bounty Hunter forums. When you come back here, try finding a negative post...I can guarantee you will find only happy-go-lucky, warm-and-fuzzy-feeling posts on the Entertainer forumsby comparison.

I actuarially do recon mission on my speeder bike for an income. It is a bit ironic that it pays better to do scout mission with out scouting skills, then it does to do entertainer missions as a master entertainer/master musician!

And on top of it, they are combat free! The only problem you will encounter (other than the random creature spawns) is the time factor . . .

Entertainer missions are worthless as far as I am concerned. There is no real incentive to do them- the very least the devs could do is give added xp bonuses to the missions for new ents. /sighYou will get better payouts by doing Explorer Recon or general Delivery missions.

I'm not sure how recon missions pay, but survey missions can be real money makers if you have the skill.

All you need to do is find 2 artisan mission terminals around 1024m apart. I believe there are terminals in Theed that are close. Player cities are also a good place to try since most have all mission terminals and typically right by the city hall, and 1km is the minimum distance between them.

Just go to both spots, survey to find what resources you can find. Make note of anything above 80%. Then just grab missions for that type of resource from the other mission terminal. Keep flying back and forth, and you can make 2k every minute or two.

If you can't survey, delivery missions are good too. Try to get missions between, for example, Moenia and Theed. As long a distance as you can while still being on the same planet. That will net you 2k every 5 or so minutes.
