Need a guide to "house catinas"

I've heard that you can create a catina out of a regular building such as a player house, is that true? And what's all the things you need to know behind it? It would be kind of neat to turn your house into an underground rave

I don't know if there's a guide, really. It's just that a house works for healing and buffing the exact same way that a Cantina does. Technically, even if it didn't you could still have parties and raves in your house because actual performing is no different whether you're in a Cantina, house, or in front of a starport.

Basically, there are two main things to consider. First, you have to decorate your house like a club. I've even considered doing something like this myself. Houses have many more decoration options by sheer fact that there are more rooms and more things you can do. You can have themed rooms...a room just for dancing, a bar room, a pool room, a spa room, all sorts of things. You just have to be really creative yourself or hire a really great interior designer. There are a lot of creative house decorators out there who would love the opportunity to do this kind of work. While my main residence at the moment is not a dance club, and while I have decorated most of it myself, I've spoken to a couple of "interior designers" about doing some work. And, these interior designers don't even have to be architects in the strictest sense of the word, but the ability to design furniture is obviously a plus, and most interior designers are interior designers by profession as well. But, I'm thinking of hiring out someone to build me a fireplace, spa area, and storage room that actually looks like a storage room. Some people get really into that sort of thing and are very creative.

The other thing to think about is how you're going to advertise. Because unlike the "real" Cantinas, you'll never have somebody be able to type /find Cantina to find your rave house. You'll have to figure out how to make it well known so that people will actually come visit. Holding special events and parties and advertising is key here, so that word of mouth can spread. Finding interior designers is a bit easier than the advertising thing. But, if you're dedicated you can do it. Or, you never know, there may actually be people in game who enjoy advertising and PR. You might be able to hire someone out for that, or get the backing of a guild to help you. But, even though difficult, advertising is key.

Beyond that, the "guide" is merely your imagination.
