Oops, posted before I put anything in..
I don't know of any cantinas on Lowca that have entertainers that aren't AFK. Back before the cantinas were filled with AFK performers there used to a decent community. However that was a long time ago.
Anyway, the reason I ask is that I don't believe there is such a community, and I'm considering moving my musician to another server

We have a small but determined ATK community on Chilastra. There are about 25 of us who get together for parties and discussions, monitor a chat channel available for players to find live entertainment and try to stay "out there". If you are interested in a visit send me a pm and we'll arrange a time when I can meet you to make sure you have enough credits to make your visit a comfortable one.

Bria has a thriving community of live Entertainers, and we love it when new (or cross-server) Entertainers join us.

I would enthusiatically suggest Tempest, but just within this past week it seems a lot of my friends are dropping their entertainer professions
.
We'll get through it I'm sure, and maybe part of it's just my perception of things.

I'm here to suggest Kettemoor again. Recently, the Kettemoor entertainer community has really taken off. We were probably all here already. However, I've met so many entertainers I never even knew in the past month or so, and the up and coming new entertainers seems to be expanding rapidly. In no small part due to Tandaava's efforts, things are really coming together. And, I'm seeing more and more Kettemoor entertainers on the boards. You'd have the dubious pleasure of hanging out with the likes of myself, Tiaga, Tandaava, Rayill, Ana, and many others that I don't have the space to mention.
I have great optimism for the state of the ent professions on Kett.

Yeah, I would say Kettemoor or Bria, they have GREAT entertainer communities. Don't come to Tarquinas, we suck. >.<

Kettemoor most definitely has a nice ATK community.
I just trashed my combat oriented char on Bria to start a Ent character over there, so I don't have much personal experience with the community on that server, but I think I can safelysay it's quite active and they have the videos to prove it.

Gorath is mostly dominated by AFKers. Although we don't see too many buffbots...I've only seen one or two my whole playtime, even, but the AFKtainers MORE than make up for said buffbot lackage. Every place is infested with them that even has the tiniest ability for XP. Maybe except for Anchorhead, but that place is almost dead anyways....

Starsider is another decent one, you have to sift through afkers, but in theed and mos eisley, you can generally find about 1/2 the cantina active during busy hours.....hope that helps!
come see me, K'erry Nylo....usually one of the two cantina's mentioned above.....coronet is too laggy and 90% afk....

There is one starting in Kauri on Lok just West of the Stronghold of Bane. It will be The Healers and Entertainers Network (THEN). The front structure is the PA hall that will be dedicated to healing and entertaining. With Lok being the home of the Kimoglia, Gurk, and a wide variety oflesser Mobs, it is a great place to hunt. The PA hall for THEN has basically three rules and violation ofany oneof these will result in a temporary, or possibly permanent ban.
The first is that inside the hall there is NO FIGHTING except on the roof where it is sanctioned. That means that Overt vs. Overt is fine on the roof (although as soon as you get a TEF the building will automatically boot you out till the TEF goes away), any friendly dueling is fine on the roof but nowhere else, and BH missions are fine if the BH can get the Jedi to accompany him upstairs
The second is NO SPAMMING. "Please heal me if I need it" will definitely get a player banned. On the other hand, if somebody is just so happy they break into song, that is not really a problem
as long as it doesn't cross the boundries of good taste and generally acceptable behavior.
The third is NO LONG TERM AFK. Ok - if you have to leave the keyboard for a biology break or to get another [input beverage name here] fine. If you start your AFKbot and leave for work or go to bed, that is not an acceptable action.
The plan is that everybody that joins will get some cash, a house and a Bantha. You can buy your own speeder. What we hope will be kind of fun will be a city full of entertainers and medics all running around on Banthas.
There will be no faction for THEN. You can be Neutral, Imperial or Rebel - it really doesn't matter - as long as you just follow those three simple rules.
There also will be no limitation on faction or faction status (covert or overt) as long as the rules are maintained.
We expect to have our formal opening sometime in September.

Ooh.. ooh.. come to Kettemoor! We love having more entertainers!
A bit more seriously, why not test some characters out of a few different servers just to see if the community is one you're looking for. I'm sure you'd be welcomed by all, but you may be able to find a few people on one particular server that will make your entertainer experience much more enjoyable for you! I'd suggest testing the waters in any server before making the switch.
Also, and this requires more work, you may want to look into trying to start up a channel for Entertainers and get the word around to a few people to see if there are more who are just in hiding. Lowca may still have a few surprises for you.
But, hey, still come stop by on Kett!
