Thread: BF healing thru recorded Chips

Hi, we had this idea on the Ranger forum in a discussion about healing BF in camps. I stole it and decided to post it here to see what y'all think.
Currently Entertainers can't heal BF in camps. We Ranger types have to trek in from east middle-no-place to get our BF healed. Sort of a pain on extended harvesting trips.
What if Entertainers could make "chips" - recordings of their performances, that other players could watch/listen to that would heal BF. They would be very much like stims. As you progress you can make chips with more healing power.Unlike stims, anyone could use them. They could be used in camps, medcenters and cantinas - especially empty cantinas- only.
Another way to make money besides tips.

A good idea. However, many of us are against crafting anything other than instruments and tools of our profession.
I think the core of our concern is: we want people to use US, not something we've made.
For example: Uberguild buffbot uses Uberguild resources to set up factories making these chips. Uberguild now has no need to return to town. Ever. Even worse, they put these chip crates on their vendors and advertize them, eliminating the need for many others to go to town and find a live Entertainer. Ever.
I agree that we should be able to heal BF in the advanced camps. It would give guilds another reason to seek out and recruit real performers, while not limiting a huge raid on the amount of BF you take.
