Thread: Just tried and fell in love with the entertainer proffession.

Anyways back in march I createda trampy female toon. (It was ment to be a joke) Anyways. I let her sit there for months while I played on my normal Ahazi pikeman. (let her get all the 1 year rewards. etc) I logged back in after I got JTL to get her set up withy the flashspeeder yacht. So anyways made 500k from selling her anniversary painting. So with that 500k I said to myself. You know with this 500k I can make this toon a sexy entertainer. I bought All kinds of stuff and made her look like a goddess. Then I picked up ent. So anyways I tried dancing and experimented with the differant flourishes. Very awsome. 2nd I could change my hair style. Those to things have me peforming in a cantina and theater. Those two things gave me a whole view of ents. I used to be under the impression that entsare only good for the folling thingsbegging, afk, people who are very desprate for attention and tips. And for creating lag at the door ways of cantinas and starports. But I saw the main problem. I was enjoying the ent proffession more than combat. It was the bad apples who gave ents a bad name. The devs have done a great job with the ent proffession. But they need to find a way to keep ents inline. Aka Get them away from the cantina entrance. Give us a stage and make it so we can only dance on a stage. I hate seeing them all scattered. Hell there was one annoying dancer dancing on top of the pilot trainer so people would be forced to watch her. Its that crap people dont like. Make it so they can't dance while afk. Other than that if they make those changes the ent proffession will live on.

Entertainer was the 2nd profession I chose on my first day(the first being Artisan, to pursue making vehicles). I stuck with Entertainer and mastered Musician, and I've loved every minute of performing.
Though there can be frustrations (and boy, do I get frustrated sometimes, heh), entertaining fits my personality well since I'm pretty much a big ol' goof in real life, so I get to goof around with folks in-game the same way - and make some tips.
AFK will eventually get worked out, I'm sure - they're just getting into a resolution for that. It'll take some time. It's not an easy thing to take out of the game.
Well, glad you like Entertainer! Keep at it, and enjoy yourself - that's the most important thing.

We have a Warryyr blood pressure watch around here to make sure he doesn't have a coronary. We're looking for someone to cover 3-4am, anyone interested?

What can I say, I'm passionate about what I love 
And yes, the 3 to 4am shift should probably be staffed. I'll take any opportunity I can to go on about something that ruffled my feathers....

I have always been an entertainer mixed in with some combat, but recently I have gone totally entertianer, mastrering the entertianer profession (again) to get back my beloved mandoviol, mastering dancer, mastering Image design, and getting the tech and knowledge trees for musician
I have no idea how I am going to make the same money as I did as a master fencer, but who cares

I now find myself logging onto both characters now. my main and the one that was ment to be a joke. Seeing how it all started Maluak on ahazi was supposed to be a joke aswell when I got him more powerful than my main on bria then switched.

For me, it happened way back in August 03 when I created Liloman. Lilo was going to be my ub3r combat character, but my first day as him, I picked up Entertainer and realized that I'd finally discovered my true niche in the game. I still do crafting and Doctorwith Tralmek and I have a few combat-oriented characters, but the one I love playing most of all is Lilo.

I first did musician as a holo profession last Jan. I really like the instruments and messing w/ diff songs and instrument combos, since I"m a musician in RL. Imade a 9- member AllMaster Musicians band calledJazzmasterzthat went around and buffed or just played at the MO, cnet cantina, and even Jabba's Palace (no xp there, just plain old fun)! We had matching sets of BE paramilitary camos (Ent woundheal ones), flex-form shirts and do-rags (the small headwraps)
Eventually after 2 1/2 mos I dropped musician to do other profs, but in the last month I've been making a Entertainment-only char on Bria and it is AWESOME! I can't wait to get the new entertainer quest. Of course things have changed w/ the buff bots, but it is still fun to have a social-only, non- fighting char who doesn't feel obligated to carry TKM
