Thread: Strange Musician XP
dancer... music is faster paced (but needs less action to
perform, so it equals out).
Best is to flourish once every 4 seconds, if you want
to hear each flourish. Also working is double flourish
each 9 seconds...

As I recall, Musicians get their bext XP for playing either their highest song or their highest instrument. So, when you're out in the cantinas grouped, always play the instrument you most recently qualified to play while the group plays the 'lowest common denominator' songs that everyone in the group can play.
As mentioned, remember to flourish twice per tick when playing music for the highest XP. Musical flourishes will cache up and play back in the order you triggered them, so you'll hear them.
And yes... your XP per tick will be low like that during the early stages. It helps a lot to get involved socially... spend some time entertaining the patrons, have some fun with the other entertainers (well, the ones that are actually there ATK), and spend that time wisely paying attention to how flourishes go together best to sound good. If you're doing the "clock watching" thing staring at the XP counter tick off little by little, it can be pretty painful. Try to enjoy the road taken rather than always setting your sights on the Mastery down the road... it helps you to enjoy things a lot more.
