I would be in Bela Vistal, a nice quiet place, and there in the cantina would be active and behind the keyboard entertainers, preforming to a small crowd.

i Would be in Daobra Gerful, and there too would be a dancer preforming to a crowd.

Kor Vella, used to have a Musican called Tweet always playing at the cantina, used to make it a point to go and watch.

Now if you dont preform in Theed or Coronet and are not AFK your not a real entertainer!

Seems no one does it for the love, for the people, but the wounded go to the AFKers to get the free mind healing, cantinas are boring places now, sometimes nothing is ever said, no one ever chats, they only things i hear now are " how much for buffs?" and " woot i got my 4th jedi"

Did Holocrons kill the industry?

Or was it AFK macroing?

I remember people travelling to great lengths to find entertainers who werent AFK, now the more AFK you are the better!

So why do you do this?

For the Love?

For the jedi?

C: I don't do it at all, but I respect the play style and as a fellow Entertainer I may do it in the future. *Lights candle*

SOE, think about every non-Jedi "cancelled" signature you've seen, and remember that there will be more as you forget the communities that makes this game's heart and soul. Entertainers, Crafters, Hybrids, Non-Jedi Combats, and Smugglers. When you are closing shop on SWG, remember that you ignored the REAL community to cater to an alpha class that assured this game would never be "balanced."

I do it for the mandovial and ceremonial. hehe

So, I guess the answer would be...I do it for love. I definitely didn't do it for jedi. I never mastered a profession I didn't want to master. In the entire time I've been playing (about 9 months), I've mastered a grand total of 3 professions.

The only reason I'd probably give up entertainer would be if I wasn't planning on using my musician skills anymore (I dabbled in the knowledge tree.) And, then, it would be to do something else I might enjoy if I ever became bored with entertaining.

I do it for love, but not in Theed or Coronet. Every time I go to one of those cantinas I end up regretting it . . . (insert missing sad smily here) I'd rather stay in my player city cantina or travel to Moenia where I'm appreciatedthan get hit on by hormonal teen boys or stiffed on buffs by thoughtless ones . . .

For the love of it. Of course.

Oddly enough, Jedi are, or are becoming, dime a dozen. And I've just never really had any interest in being a Jedi. Well, except in the more roleplayed, philosophical sense... more of the "priestly" class of Jedi as opposed to the warrior. Which I do from time to time... and you know what? No profession grinding needed to do that.
