Okay, I've been playing SWG since the third day, but I still haven't fully understood how experience works between musicians and dancers. If there is a full group of both musicians and dancers, does everyone get experience from everyone else? Or do the dancers get experience for all the other dancers, and the same for the musicians? Also, if some patrons are /watching and some are /listening, does the whole group get the benefit (and experience) of healing all of them? Or do the dancers heal those /watching and the musicians heal those /listening? One last thing, does a player get healed more quickly if he/she /watches and /listens at the same time?

Thanks for clearing this up for me!

If there is a full group of both musicians and dancers, does everyone get experience from everyone else? Experience seems to go up, the more folks you have in a group, yes. Masters playing master instruments, or dancing at a master dance, seem to contribute greatly.

Or do the dancers get experience for all the other dancers, and the same for the musicians?See previous answer.

Also, if some patrons are /watching and some are /listening, does the whole group get the benefit (and experience) of healing all of them? Or do the dancers heal those /watching and the musicians heal those /listening?All patrons who /listen or /watch get their Battle Fatigue and mind wounds healed by the groupcollectively. I don't think it'ssplit between only musicians and only dancers, it's the group as a whole. The reason I believe this is because i joined a 2 person group of 2 dancers, with patrons already watching them. I'm a Musician. The moment I started playing, I got healing xp.

One last thing, does a player get healed more quickly if he/she /watches and /listens at the same time? No. The rate of healing is constant, based on the number of people in a group. Now, if you /listen to a musician in one big group, and /watch a dancer in another big group, maybe you could heal faster. I've never tried that, interesting idea.

Thanks for clearing this up for me!
I hope my answer were correct And you're very welcome

I don't believe masters have any impact on the experience. In my experience, that is soley based on how many are in the group. I haven't tested that extensively, however.

But as far as experience goes, an entertainer is an entertainer. They all share the xp, no matter how they perform. So if you're just in a big group for healing xp, you could be shuffling between your feet doing basic, even if you are trying to get musician, and you'll get the same healing xp.

The other thing I'm not sure on is how a group effects healing rate. The rate isn't constant, however. A master dancer will heal someone a whole lot faster than a novice entertainer. It does seem like it may even relate to who in the group you are watching or listening to. It seems like healing goes faster watching a master dancer than a novice entertainer, even in the same group. But again, not something I've looked much into. It's on my list of things to look into at some point.

Inside my heart is breaking, my make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly - my friends
