Thread: I love you
Farewell my Image Designing friends, for those who know me. Too long have i been insulted and spat on for being Image Designer. I love the profession but it's not bringing me any income and i'm really not respected.
Anyone else feel if something doesn't happen soon then Image Designers won't be able to afford the luxuries of this game?
*shrug*
Don't get me wrong, I don't know how much money those other classes make, but I never charge for Image Design, and I still think I make decent money.

Yes, but you're probably being spit on and insulted by loser players who think it's fun to click TAB and pressing F2 to kill Meatlumps over and over again. I would definitely favor shrugging off those morons.

You spent at least 82 points to be a Master ID. So you likely have over 150 points to devote to a profession that makes better money. If you're seeking combat, you can do that. If you're seeking sales, you can be a crafter. Unless you devote yourself to professions that the typical combat wombat finds useless--like a mixture of ID, Dancer, and Tailor--then you have great potential to make money without dropping the Image Design that you love so much.
Of course, ultimately, it boils down to doing what you enjoy. If Image Design has gotten to the point where you aren't having fun, then of course you have to drop it in favor of something else. I've seen this go on in the Dancer forum. But good luck with the rest of your SWG career. Maybe you'll discover you really miss ID and will want to come back.
just make a price list like me i charge 5k-40k for hair
5k for hieght wieght
30k for skin color
15-25k for tan
orunlimited mod for 100k per 40mins
and i have too mant customers to keep up with
im on wanderhome
ps. these prices keep my schedule free enough so i can enjoy the game

Thanks, we love to hear that some people out there still enjoy live entertainment.
hah and I remember the first time a guy tried hitting on me in-game. I was so surprised and somewhat scared too... The only reply I could come up with was "Umm...you know I'm a guy, right?" I've gotten so used to the women played by men, men played by women, and all other gender mixes and matches now...
And I get hit on all the time. But most of the time it's because they mistake me for a woman. (Used to happen more before holo-grinders.) The first few times I didn't know how to respond. Then at a shuttleport yet another mistake. At this point I'm mostly ignoring it, but my friends would usually make the correction. After she pointed it out to him, he made a comment about how I looked so nice (Well, not quite those words but that idea) that he couldn't tell. That sparked my imagination and from there I started rolling with it much better, and turning it into something humorous.
I'd be suprised if you found very many truly homophobic dancers, to be honest. Not because guys that dance are gay, but because as a dancer, guys can take a lot of heat from other guys, so need to really be secure in themselves.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
But, if you ever hit on my musician husband, I'll go TK on ya! ![]()

Couldn't have said it better.
Chatting with live and social entertainers will always be one of my preferred ways of spending time.
