I just achieved Master Entertainer and have had mAster dancer/ Master Musician for some time. I am Human and have been buffing for sometime and always seem to double the mind bar from 1000 to 2000.
Once I achieved Master Entertainer I noticed no difference in passive buffs or active buffs.
Is there something I am missing here or is Master Ent a useless skill?
Also what skill tapes increase the music and dance buffs? and will these net no increase as well
I have +100 music/dance mind enhancement mods.
Thanks for the help

Master Entertainer doesn't give buff mods.
The actual skill mod name is Mind Enhancement (Music) and Mind Enhancement (Dance).

Really the only benefit of master entertainer is the ability to play the mandoviol and ceremonial, a great instrument and a great song.

I am human male so I can not use the leotard.
So the additional music/dance mind enhancement tapes do work, are theyfor strength of buffor is it the duration of the buff longer?

Strength of buff only. There's nothing in the game currently that will increase the duration of a dancer or musician buff.

Check Tusken Raider clothing at your local vendor hotspots, and around Fort Tusken. I've found gloves with +5 and +7 to musical mind enhancement. Who wouldda thought the Tuskens appreciated music?

dang, Guess I will drop it as there is no benifit.
I can use the SP's to top up politician.
My other question was regarding these elusive skill enhancing clothing attachments. I see that other dancers/musicians have found them and are using them for an additional buff bonus.
What is the most likely NPC to drop these and what is the cap on music/dance mods?

Master Entertainer also gives you another +10 to Wound Healing (Dance) & (Music). /yawn If you don't want it for the mandoviol (the coolest instrument in the game!) and Ceremonial (a really wonderful song) or for Formal2 (a tiny bit better than Formal although you still reel around like a drunken shaupaut), then yes...ditch it and that ID line unless you need that for some other reason (like Novice Image Designer, where stat migration is).
Since you're male, it won't affect you, but a word of warning about Tusken clothing: it can only be worn by men. Your revenge for the leotard and NightSister biceps, guys. /sigh
As for where to find the Musical Mind Enhancement clothing attachments, anything that can drop a clothing attachment can drop one with that particular mod on it. +1s are moderately common clothing attachments.
Also, some looted clothing has modifiers on it. A Jedi looted sandals on our server the other night with +21 Musical Mind Enhancement in them. /sob He got them up on the Corellian Corvette of a very high-level NPC mob.I personally have an Aa'kuan shirt with an extra mod on it besides the built-in, standard +10 bleeding defense...it also has +3 Musical Mind Enhancement. I've seen an Aa'kuan belt auctioned with +2 Musical Mind Enhancement on top of the default mod of +10 disease resistance.
So you might ask your guildmates, if they're amenable, to kill Tuskens and Aa'kuans and go up to the Corvette and actually kill everything up there. But the chances of anything having the music or dance Mind Enhancement mods on it is relatively small, since there are so many mods for an item to randomly have assigned to it, and so many of them are broken mods that haven't worked since beta.

Thankfully my alt is a DJK. I have been slaughtering tuskans and regularily go up to the vette. So I am on track then.
Thanks for such an informative reply. /tip 4000000
