Mr/Miss Galaxy Pagent

On Saturday, September 18, 2004, at 6:00pm EST, Crystal Creek Valley, Dantooine's Viva La'Regas Cantina will be sponsoring the first monthly Entertainer Pagent.ALL entertainers are welcome - male/female, noobs/masters.The judging will be based on several of the persons entertaining abilities (social ability, ideas, effort, audiance captivation), not merely professional skill.
The winner of the pagent will receive 1m credits, first runner up will receive 500k credits, and second runner up will recieve 250k credits.
The pagent will be separated into several categories.You will have to present yourself in each category or take a - 0 - score for the category which you do not participate.
The categories are as follows:
Indroduction:You will present yourself in any outfit you desire and present yourself to the judges.You may want to include why you are an entertainer, what you would like to do to better the galaxy, your name, occupations, basically anything about yourself that you think the judges would like to know.In this category you will be judged on atire, articulation, and style.Up to 30 points can be awarded in this category.
Bathing Suit:Just as it sounds.You will present yourself in swimming atire and go flaunt it for the judges.In this category, you will be judged on atire and appearance.Up to 20 points can be awarded in this category.
Professional:This category will be your chance to show us what you do outside of the cantina.You can ask a spectator to join you in combat to show us your skills on the field, you can bring out your pets and do tricks for us, model tailored goods, ect.Whatever you think will best show us what else you do besides entertain the masses.If you are a crafter by second nature, please let me know and we will admin you to the cantina so you can set up a display on the stage.You will be given FIVE (5) minutes and no more to set up a display of your goods before judging begins.This category will be judged on originality, ability/skill, overall presentation.Up to 30 points will be awarded in this category.
Entertaining:You may chose to dance, play music, or present "The most beautiful species".You will be judged on all aspects of your entertaining abilities with this category.Atire, professional ability, audiance captivation, presentation, and finally ID will be judged on subject appearance where Dance and Music will be judged on routine.Up to 50 points may be awarded in this catagory.
Closure:In this category, you will once again present yourself to the judges in a different costume than the introduction segment.You will tell the judges what you think makes you the best choice to hold the title "Miss/Mr Tempest".This will be your last chance to approach the judges before the final decision is made and the votes are tallied.This category will be judged on atire and presentation.Up to 20 point may be awarded in this category.
A total of 150 points is possible throughout the pagent.You will be expected to obide by the following rules or suffer the listed consequence and/or a 5 minute penalty.
- Contestants must conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- No cavorting with the judges, or bribery of any sort will be tolerated.
- If you are given instruction or asked to step off the stage and refuse to listen to the host or judges, you will be removed from the cantina and the pagent.
- No use of profanity.
- No sexually explicit behavior.
For your safety, anyone who is caught touching or flirting with the contestants will be removed from the cantina, and all remaining guests/contestence/judges will be asked to place them on ignore until the pagent is over.
To be fair, any judge who is found accepting bribery or flirting/touching will be removed from the panel and replaced, and ejected fromt he cantina.
To enter the pagent, you will need to email LaurnaRose by Friday, September 17, 2004.As a master image designer, LaurnaRose will be offering image alterations to any pagent contestent up to 1 hour prior to the pagent FREE OF CHARGE (no stat migrations).
