Thread: Why are entertainers left out of the heightened senses branch?

I am curious if anyone knows why entertainers are not considered healers like medics are? I am baffled why the heightened senses tree, persuasion is for master medics only? Are not entertainers healers too? You should be given a choice of Master Medic or Master Entertainer. I really don't get it.

Yup. Many of us have expressed frustration over this, including the correspondants directly to the Devs. Feedback is... Devs don't care and have no intention of changing it.

So are they gonna change their advertisements to say "be a Jedi (available for medic, artisan and combat professions only, but not entertainer)" ?

This is insane since they allow us to convert our entertainment xp for FS senses. What are we even doing it for if we can't actually use it?

Well, it seems as though the Devs, in their almighty wisdom, don't feel that anyone would want to, or should, play a pure entertainer. Afterall, it's a boring support profession. So, of course everyone in their right mind would have either a combat profession or at least master medic to be of SOME use in the galaxy.

we entertainers aren tye only ones getting screwed on this, persuasion woudl be a nice addiotn to scout (well ok its a useles saddition to anoyne for wha it actually does but for scout tpye esp ch's it just seems right to have it) and yes scouting xp wilderness xp and creatuer handling xp all conver to fs senses xp, just like our healing xp yet like us scoutng (and reangr/ch's) cant actually do any of the quests without dropping skills like crazy



oh and btw phase 1 persuasion unlock isnt master medic its doc 0004 (the char ive done it with was a cm at the time and boy was i irritated aobuthaving to dorp cm skills and grind doc stuff (i was already irritated to find out that half the chars liek like to unlock that branch for cnat unlock it, but to find out for some reason as a master combat medic who used area stims more thna any of my othere emds i wasnt even considered a medic...)
