Thread: entertainer droids bugged?

i made a DZ70 with fog and avain for someone, and the on/off swtich didnt show up,, they powered it up and stuff and couldnt get it to work.. said soemthing about they can only be R3?? is this true?? i have sold 100's of mice and Dz70 before and noone has ever sent me mail about it.. is this a rare bug?? or is something amiss?


If there is a fix or anyone has info let me know : )

They did set up a program, right? They need to place a program in that that tells the droid what effects, in which order and for how long. Maybe they forgot that step?

They need at least novice dancer or musician to use the effects.

I believe the following need to be true (though I could be wrong):


1) they are currently performing (this is the big one).

2) They have either Novice Dancer or Novice Musician.

Number 2 is the biggie here.A large number of people think that they only need Entertainer to use the Entertainment modules.

Yup you got it right,, as a DE i thought it was useable by ANY entertianer prof,, see learn something new every day,,

Yup,, you hit it on the head... thats what i thought too,, they are called entertainer droids afterall soo i figured as like most people that any entertainer could use um,, there is no cert listed under skill box..


well a nice flood of the forums on my part,, my bad... and i thought a new bug poped up in droids,, i guess a big /sighOfRelief on that..


Well i guess a related note for the DE corrispondent.. maybe we can get the devs to add a cert listing under novice dancer and musican?? i know its not technically a DE issue,, or is it? it is our droids after all : )

It's not that uncommon of a mistake.

At one point the KB even had it wrong. It may still, I haven't looked recently.

Getting Skills required listed on Droid deeds has been an issue since they were on TC.

Just to be clear the person DOES NOT need to be performaing for the droids visualeffects to work. That only applies to the playback module.
